We recently had our Smiles Across Nepal Charity dinner event at the hotel, we were all really pleased with the hotel, its staff and venue and the food. Could not fault on service and hospitality. Thank you very much for making sure the evening went very well Mr Limbu, we will surely be using BWMTH service in the future.

We had the best wedding ever. All staff deserve an award. Sharon Burke was brilliant. Steve was our superman and it was our fairytale wedding (even though we are middle aged). Very competitively priced (we can say that now as we have had our wedding). I would have refused Buckinham Palace wedding to this place. Thank you very much xx

We had our wedding here at the weekend, Sharon, Dinesh, Sam, Steph and the team were amazing nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond to make our day special. The food was incredible throughout the day and all the staff at The Marks Tey were all so friendly polite and helpful throughout our stay. We would like to thank everyone involved and say what a memorable day we had.

Thank you to Sharon and team(especially James, Sam and Wendy) I've just had my 30th birthday party which was themed masquerade ball room was perfect good size, I have always loved the old fashion look of hotel especially stair case which had some fab pics taken on there.

food was delicious, staff very helpful with doing decorations in the day I had a mask above the door of the room and a certain way of how I wanted the room to look, Nothing seem to be a problem and every time I emailed ,rang, or came into hotel and talk to Sharon about party felt very welcomed everything I wanted was taken in to consideration so thank you Sharon your a star! hope you got your present I left you as I know your a big fan of Pandora like I am :-) we are looking forward to next event which is a family wedding!

Many thanks

My last night here of a 3 night stay for business.

From the moment I arrived, every member of staff has been fantastic. Friendly, helpful and almost always smiling. There have been a couple of errors with meal orders, but they are swiftly rectified with genuine apologies. The food itself is plentiful, very tasty with plenty of choice.

My double room is spacious with a comfortable bed and powerful shower. Plenty of accessible power sockets for a person travelling on business. The WiFi isn’t the best however.

All in all a great hotel (£59 a night B&B!) and I will stay again when back in this area.

I have booked in here for 5 weeks and I am currently at the end of my 3rd week, the staff are excellent & friendly. I have eaten from the bar menu quite a few times and I have to say I have yet to be disappointed with the food served.

If you ask for something it is delivered without fuss and any issues are dealt with swiftly, I have no complaints and would happily book here again

Great hotel. Staff very friendly. Room was really nice ** except gunky sink overflow and rubbish behind unit which was found accidentally when we dropped spoon behind we found it. Considering hotel close to a12. Could not jear the traffic. Very comfy night. Breakfast was good but scrambled egg very bland. And no white bread for toasting. Resturaunt food menu a little too posh.... had too eat out before check in. But i would recommend and will return.

Attended the Simles Charity dinner on 1st of April and also stayed over. Brilliant experience. The charity dinner was brilliantly run and kudos to Dinesh. Our stay was fantastic including the room service. The breakfast staff next day and Binay at the bar in the morning were also very helpful and professional. Would definitely recommend this hotel and use it again.
