We moved from Harlow to a nearby Village on the 16th Feb 2018. The removals team of Rhys and Ben arrived early in two of the smaller lorries. From the start they were very professional and put our mind at ease. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything was packed up fairly quickly with no hassle. We then had to wait several hours for the keys to our new property to our frustration. I phoned the Ben and Rhys to let them know and again there were polite and professional despite hours being added to their day. Once we had the keys everything was moved in quickly but without rushing. Everything was put in the correct room and everything treated with care. I couldn’t praise them highly enough even having a laugh and joke with them throughout the day. The whole service was highly professional from the initial contact to the quote, the box delivery through to the actual move. Would highly recommend Better Removals. Great service at a reasonable price!

The team that moved me from Hertfordshire to East Sussex could not have been more helpful, even when faced with my Harley and a faulty tail lift, they did an absolutely brilliant job and I cannot recommend this company highly enough...I dumped Pickfords because of their unprofessional approach and took a gamble on Better Removals & Storage...one of my better decisions, thanks you so much!

My Wife and I were really impressed with the assistance provided by Better Removals & Storage, the excellent service we received made the stressful experience of moving a lot easier.



Following on from our move we required some items to be stored using the Better removals storage facility. Once again we have recieved excellent service from the guys who picked up and then delivered our items to Sam in the office who was friendly and efficient. We have had a few unexpected problems with dates and times and the Better Removals team have gone out of there way to help us.

Just wanted to give some feedback on our move on Monday 3rd November. We didn't get the keys until 5pm that night and after waiting for nearly 4 hours for us to complete the guys moved us in to the house in 45 mins including building the Wardrobe. All of this with no electricity in the pitch black. Please pass on my thanks to the team. I will definitely be recommending Better Removals to anyone I hear is moving. A top class service at a very reasonable price too!!!!

I really cannot rate these people highly enough.



The office folk, who answered every question, and even tolerated and reassured me on the phone when I rang up in a complete tizzy from all the stress coming from the various other folk in our chain... they took this in their stride.



And the guys doing the packing and boxing and loading.... all of them, worked like absolute Trojans, with humour and professionalism throughout. No judgement at all, even with all the dog fluff that was discovered accumulated under the fridge...!



Then, at our new (to us) place, they were decent and respectful to the old lady who was leaving her home of 34 years and who couldn't quite get herself together to actually walk away and drive off, not rushing her, or being obviously impatient in any way that could have perturbed or distressed her more.



In comparison to other very large and internationally known companies - those who couldn't even answer a phone with good manners and those who got as far as quoting for our job, Better were quite frankly Better All Round. And Paul's singing :-D



Just use this company! - you'll be pleased you did.

Great service from the team at Better Removals � We recently moved on 2nd March and they arrived nice and early. Even though we weren’t 100% packed they worked around us and got the job done professionally despite the snow!

Great company have had the privilege of assisting them on a number of occasions to provide labour and have had them help on our larger jobs when in our area great values and an extremely high level of workmanship looked up to by so many in the industry if your looking for a removal company in there area look no further highly recommended

An amazing company with dedicated staff who help from the minute you answer the door. Although I'm on my own I've moved from a three bed house and currently with a broken leg it took me a lot longer to pack than I'd planned but the staff were fantastic and even helped me with some of the packing items that I wasn't able to reach! Three terrific guys, Darren, Matt and Reece arrived at 8am this morning and appart from a break for coffee, they have not stopped. They have done everything with good humour and wonderful manners (even lifting the piano).

A massive thank you for the service Better Removals provided. From start to finish we couldn't fault the team - the service was excellent.



From our initial enquiry, to Ben coming around the house to talk through the moving process, and then the sales team sending out the quotation, and answering our queries - we found the whole process very efficient.



Then, on the move day, the team were fantastic. They were very competent, friendly and polite. They made the whole moving experience enjoyable, with their professionalism and friendly banter.



The whole process went without any hitches.

We used this firm to move house in 2016. To start on Day 1, a very professional, full packing service. Day 2, move day was OK to start with, as the lorries were loaded. However, as it got later in the day, a further crew turned up to help speed up the unload at our new house; the off load was then rushed and furniture and boxes were just dumped in wrong rooms. Day 3, the foreman turned up to put together a few remaining items and then left before we could check through for any damage etc. In the following days, we started to notice damaged furniture and items, which had clearly been damaged in the move and that we had not been informed of and also, our sack trolley, which we used to move heavy appliances at our old house (and one of their guys had commented on earlier in the day, “would be very handy for them”), strangely didn’t make it to our new house!!!

You moved my mother in Nov '17 and somehow a box magically disappeared. This box contained collectible plates from over 40 years and were expensive. We have witnesses who saw one of the men carry it out of the flat, never to be seen again. It was an open top box so you would be able to see contents. My Mam has had no response regarding this since you had the nerve to send someone round checking all her cupboards and under bed to see if she'd just not seen!! how dare you!! We will be seeking legal advice regarding this as she needs to be compensated or the box of plates returned. This is theft!!!
