very very nice pool waves and nice hot shower

hello my name is ralf zillmann i'm from germany i am looking for my hospitable mother from bexhill in year 2006 her name is mrs richards she has lived in the hastings rd at dorset house no 6 in the hastings rd is an bridge for people walk and she is near the king offa way and the upper sea rd i was in bexhill for three weeks by europartner study abroad in summer 2006 the group leader of this group was carsten renner can they help me to find her??? please an private message to me on facebook

We attend Bexhill leisure pool frequently, the staff are always very friendly, the changing area is always kept as clean as possible. I've never seen a changing area immaculate constantly due to the frequency of use so I believe the staff do a fab job at keeping this the way they do.

The teaching staff are fantastic in the lessons and the ladies that do the Aqua aerobics are always full of energy.

Yes in some areas the centre could do with a freshen up but overall we love coming here. Certainly warmer than other pools in the area and reasonably priced too !!! �

Very good my 7 year old dose swimming lessons and she has done very well the staff are very nice so I give it 5 stars

Great preschool swimming group at Bexhill leisure pool. Both my kids enjoy swimming and have water confidence because of this group. Staff are fantastic too!

Amazing staff, exteamly friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist when I lost my glasses, she couldn't have done more to help.

This is a great little pool ideal for families not the most modern of places but has everything you need

Lovely warm water,which is great as I hate cold pools...my girl really like t waves and waterslide x

Halloween splash dance was amazing, kids loved it. Didn't get in first time but was well worth the wait in macdonalds to get into second session. Hopefully things will be better organised next year as there were a lot of disappointed kids and angry parents for staff to deal with

This was the first time at the pool so I asked the staff member on the desk about the procedure/ lockers/ where to go etc. I had to work it out myself because he wasn't very helpful. Staff were young and seemed uninterested. Waves were good and pool was clean and warm. The slide was good and we all enjoyed it.

Cant believe the pool closes at 4pm on a saturday just so kids can have a party.

If you want to have a kids party then book somewhere more appropriate and not at a swimming pool cos not everyone can go swimming during the week and its time limited at weekends, so this to me is poor management and should stop the poxy kids partys and give more time to the swimmers who i believe would earn the centre more money than a party.

1 star is all i would give to this place even tho it says i put 3 stars (i did not put 3) �

Not too sure what to say really, possibly the worst of all the freedom leisure pools. shabby, tired looking pool, dodgy paintwork, little natural light, advertised as a wave pool but broken and after enquiringly said it won’t be fixed anytime soon, my boys had a great time despite the broken wave machine. Such a shame

Nice pool but the wait to get in with no communication from staff was very poor. Waited about an hour and the reception staff didn't explain the wait - appreciate that it was busy but in such times a band system could be used. If the staff had said what the problem was instead of just ignoring the queue and making coffees then it would have been more bearable.

Took my 3 children swimming there this afternoon. Not only was the changing area dirty and smelt very strong of urine, when a child vomit on the side of the pool they cleaned it up with tissue and then got a bucket of water from the pool and washed what was left back into the pool and then turned o. The wave machine..Well that was the end of our swimming session..Won't be going back there in a hurry...

The worst poor customer service I’ve experienced and very miffed frankly.



If you do not have a pound for the swimming lockers the reception will hold your belongings while you use the facilities and all they do it keep your bank card or car keys for example as safe keeping (the fact that they were going to be holding my entire bag...phone, car keys, shoes, clothes! Should be reason enough to know that I will return after my swim!!!!). Anyway, so they had a young lady on work experience with no name bagde so I assumed she worked there. I explained to her that another staff member working in the gym told me that if I leave my credit card they will hold my bag whilst I swim and so I gave her my credit card. She proceeded to put my card through the payment machine, charged me £1 on my card and so I said sorry what’s going on? She didn’t even explain what she was going to do before doing it. Then the staff member who shouldn’t have left the girl on her own she admitted came to reception, told her that what she did was incorrect and all she had to do was ask me for my car keys and they will happily hold my belongings!



Worse - She would not simply refund my card the £1.....instead asked me to buy something for the £1!



Even worse - if that wasn’t awful customer service enough, she then said I can’t have the water as it’s £1.30 so I would have to pay her ANOTHER 30p for THEIR MISTAKE! She should have just refunded my card and apologised for the error. The work experience girl didn’t apologise she didn’t seem to think what happened was reason to apologise or her error!

Luckily paying £1.30 is not going to affect my finances but the principal of customer service was completely and embarrassingly lost on the woman that works their as a permanent staff member and if I wasn’t a polite English person I would have stood up for myself more instead of feeling bullied like that.

I pay a lot of money every month by direct debit so I shouldn’t have to pay supplementary costs for horrendous customer service.

And funnily enough I usually go to Bexhill gym instead as the gym equipment is new and the staff are professional where I know they would have had the common sense and respect to just refund my card £1. I don’t think I’ll be going back.

Rude pool staff when trying to support a family member to swim, feel like can't have any fun at all or even flick a bit of water, feel very restricted to just swimming about or up and down. Did not enjoy my visit one bit. Will not be coming back any time soon.

Halloween splash dance total organisational chaotic nightmare, queued for 40 mins with a 2 year old and a 5 year old and couldn't get it! Staff didn't tell people further up the queue they couldn't get in which would have saved them queuing, loads of very upset children who had all made the effort to queue up and dress up, children cannot be expected to wait another 1.5 hours, more sessions throughout the day should of been put on, tickets should of been available to pre-buy and also managers should have controlled queues better as lining up in busy car park is dangerous the pavement would have been more sensible.
