Visiting the Natural History Museum from Somerset. Googled to find out that this great bakery was just under 3 miles away! Taxi for 4 & hot footed it there. 2 of my 3 kids are coeliacs. They have never been somewhere where they were able to pick anything off the menu. 2 full kids & one happy mum. Fantastic accommodating, friendly staff. Well worth a visit

User

The gluten free quiche and breads are amazing! Well worth a visit for anyone with celiac disease.

Popped into the Charlotte Place bakery today for the first time around 2pm for a late lunch while showing my mother around London. It made me so pleased I've just moved to England. Really wonderful service, lovely sandwiches (was recommended the Caesar which was as tasty as promised), and the first red velvet cupcake I've been able to eat since having to stop eating gluten which was immensely tasty. Can't wait to go back!

User

Only in London for a few days, but made the trip here 2 mornings in a row once I found it. Loved the food and the coffee. Hot crossed buns were really good! We are visiting from Florida and I found this place online before we arrived. Really glad we were able to go.

My husband and I had a terrific breakfast at Beyond Bread. We shared a tasty raspberry danish, then he had the poached eggs and bacon and a superb cappuccino, and I had the poached eggs and haloumi and a lovely pot of tea. We loved our meals so much we came back for tea later in the day; I was disappointed to find that the Victoria sponge I'd been eyeing in the morning had been eaten in the meantime, but we shared a lemon slice (and more fantastic coffee and tea) and it was fantastic. I was impressed by the selection of gf bread, rolls, and pastries. Next time I'm in London I will be back (possibly every day)!

User

If you're Gluten Free and want tasty lunchtime food or a pastry, this place is great. Even if you're not GF, it really does taste good. Not sure I've ever tasted GF French bread and cakes and pastries that taste like the real thing. Staff are friendly and efficient too. Definitely worth a visit.

User

I visited the bakery in Islington.

The food is literally out of this world!

I am speechless.. never had bread this good in UK, gluten free or not!

I would pick it over regular bread even if I didn't need a gluten free diet!

And their cakes are to die for!

I had the banana bread and the matcha cakes and I wish I could go there every day to try more of their delicious food.. but I will definitely go back as soon as I can!

I would recommend it to anyone for breakfast/brunch/lunch or just to pop in and buy all their breads, cakes and quiches!

User

I loved the falafel sandwich and the fantastic chocolate cake, which is not bad when considering that it is my wife being allergic to gluten, hence used to normally eat food with gluten. Very tasty food and friendly staff!

User

I love it and I miss it so much. waiting for june, coming back to londond and to beyond bread!!!!!

User

I don't think I have ever had gluten free baked goods that tasted so good, if I had to pick one food to live on for the rest of my life it'd be the cinnamon bun! It was the perfect birthday breakfast :)

User

Great Bakery and Yes everything is gluten free!! Lovely cakes, croissants, pastries and also great for a panini or quiche. No cross contamination, great place for coeliacs.

User

Fantastic selection of delicious pastries and sandwiches. Being ceoliac, I felt like a kid in a sweet shop, with no chance of cross contamination, and croissants that taste like I remember the real thing tasting

User

Fantastic place! Food is amazing and staff are lovely! We ate in then bought stuff to take home

User

Fantastic .Took my daughter here who was over the moon with the choice and relaxed as everything gluten free .we had brunch which was amazing and filling .Friendly staff and could nt leave with out a cinnamon swirl .worth every penny and walk to get their .

User

Called at this 100% gluten free eatery, no possibility of cross contamination which is amazing when away from home! My Daughter is Coeliac and was overwhelmed by the choice. We all ate and each chose something different and loved the food!! The waffles as a sweet were great too. We left very happy indeed and will definitely return <3

User

As someone who doesn’t have to eat gluten free couldn’t tell I was on this occasion.

User

Amazing bakery!! The best red velvet cake I have ever tasted. Highly recommended!! Well be back next year. Thank you xx

User

The breads for the sandwiches were great, however the pulled pork sandwich barely had any filling. The soy latte delicious. Brownie was very bitter (I understand its sugar-free, but I think they forgot the sweetener that day, it was just inedible). Croissant looked fantastic, tasted ok (too buttery for me) but it was somewhat raw in the middle. Dairy free versions were quite limited. The least pleasant part of the visit was the "no restrooms" so can't even wash your hands.

User

I absolutely adore the beyond bread produce and everything I’ve tried I have loved. It’s so nice to go into a cafe and be spoilt for choice instead of the usual tricky workings out of what I can eat. The one thing that lets his place down is the staff- Particularly the Fitzrovia bakery, I never feel welcome and more of an inconvenience to them. I now only choose to go and pick things up in there an never sit in for this reason. Such a shame as such a unique and brilliant bakery would be a weekly visit for me otherwise!
