Bfas - Brook Farm Animal Sanctuary Description

Brook Farm Animal Sanctuary is dedicated to caring for animals. To rescuing them from cruelty, hardship, and neglect. To ensure they live out the remainder of their natural lives in the optimum physical and psychological comfort.
Rehoming them when possible but always overseeing their care.

We have a non-destruct policy except on veterinary advice and where all else has failed.

In some instances, where the animals have special needs, very old, or have personality disorders, we guarantee them care and protection, as well as a home with us for the remainder of their lives.
Animals we deal with include the following but are not limited to: dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, ponies, goats, sheep, pigs, cows, chickens, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, all kinds of wildlife etc.

Molly is your typical cocker spaniel that likes to carry shoes, clothes etc around the house. Look what she happened to pick up this morning!

The cows were very happy to have a thorough clean out of their barn. Huge thanks to friend John and volunteer Jenny from Brinsley Animal Rescue for all of their help 😊. It will now be deep littered over the next few months to keep them warm in the winter.

Handsome Rupert came to us when his owners could not afford him. Rupert will need to go into a vets surgery to have an operation as he is a rig. Any donations towards this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you to everyone that has emailed offering a home to this beautiful boy. We have recieved lots of emails and it will take time to respond. Apologies if we do not get around to replying to everyone. Mick has spent his life in a cage and is a little institutionalised, therefore we will be looking for someone who has a large enclosure where he will also have friends.

*Stig has been offered a forever home. Thanks for sharing. Stig was found in a dustbin dehydrated and had lots of gas in his stomach. He also has an inflamed pancreas. Thanks to the wonderful team at LakeView Veterinary Centre - Thrapston Stig is on the road to recovery. He will be looking for a home once he is 100%. He is believed to be 8-10 years but because of his condition it is difficult to be sure. If anyone can offer a loving home and show this sweet boy some love please get in touch via email.

Baby pony 😍he has made lots of new friends of all species including pigs, horses, humans and sheep. Baby pony was a big part of the local community when he lived on the Cambridge common, originally used as a trap pony by travellers children. Then abandoned on the Cambridge common. His cheeky personality is enough for anyone to fall in love with. ❤️
