Focaccia... It’s salty with a crispy, crunchy crust and light fluffy crumb baked with loads of olive oil and rosemary. So simple but so good!

Thanks to everyone for the continued support for our little shop. We’ve had the keys now for 1 year and yet every weekend we’re still blown away by queues, the comments, the love (the hate, there is always a few), the smiles and the enthusiasm you all show for our goodies. I might look miserable lurking about in the back shop, replenishing the shelves, cutting cakes etc but that’s just my face😂 At that point in day I’ve been awake for 27hrs and working for 24 of them preppin...g and baking for you guys! (and you wonder why we’re not open every day!) However, a big thanks goes out to the real boss of the show my beautiful wife @domi_robin, who holds the whole operation together. She juggles kids, wedding cakes, celebration cakes, wholesale bookkeeping, shop bookkeeping, she designed and helped build the shop, she writes menus, she runs the shop shift, she’s the barista and she’s my most favourite person in the world and without her there would be no @bigbearbakery. A big shout out to @gradlanger_has_bread for absolutely nailing the bread week in week out, he’s continually developing new products and runs the bread shift producing the bread that you all love so much. A big thanks to Dave aka raven who is my right hand man for everything we prep and bake in the shop, he managed our wholesale bakery for years and has moved over to focus solely on the shop production. Then finally there is the full wholesale team who continue to bake and deliver to the city, all the Big Bear Bakery treats that you know and love. XxX
