Foxglove excelsior hybrid. Another willowy favourite. Some of these are as tall as the beautiful wild ones you often see around this time.

Evening sunshine finally broke through and I pounced on the chance to photograph the most beautiful ultramarine blue delphinium on the field. This is from a Black Shed seedling and I'm presuming its parent was of the belladonna variety. It's even better in the flesh .
