So quick update! It's over and it was a draw!! Really enjoyed it despite looking awful! Over 3000 pounds raised for the charity and really proud of myself for what I have achieved along with all the guys at platinum gym!!

We have been using Blackwood Butchers for several years as indeed have our 2 daughters. The quality of the fresh meat and more lately the home-made cold meat products has always been second to none and it’s great now that they have a Facebook page so these sort of reviews can be shared more widely. Have to say that the turkey breast joint and the loin of pork we had over xmas were absolutely top drawer and the crackling on the pork was just perfect. Massive well done and thanks to Neil, Gary, Scott, Arthur and the lads. Happy New Year!

The best butchers around. They are great fun and tell terrible jokes. I have shopped here for years. They look after my poor old mom making sure her meat is delivered and they even gave her roses for Valentine's day which its more than my Dad did. The meat is fantastic and good value for money and there are lots of interesting flavours of chicken etc to try. We always order at Christmas and the meat has been beautiful. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Had two joints cooked by them for birthday celebrations.....absolutely perfect, along with best pork pie ever...…...thank you to all at Blackwood Butchers!!

Best traditional butcher by far! Not only is the meat delicious and the lads cheeky, cheerful and funny......they give great advice on cooking ! Shoulder of lamb was divine , so thanks Neil. We're so lucky to have you as our butcher.
