Another, gloriously chilly day but the roads are open again! Take care out there everyone ⛄️

A very snowy day at the farm today and with the A54 still closed at the moment, I expect it’s going to be a quiet one too..!! All the animals are bedded up snuggly in their shed - off to make 200 litres of ice cream now!! πŸ₯ΆπŸ¦πŸ˜†

Our Nativity Scene has been receiving lots of lovely comments this week - a lot due to Toffee Tiffin keeping a very close eye on Baby Jesus we’re guessing ☺️
There’s still time to stock up on festive ice cream - we have Christmas Pudding, Baileys and Nutella still available in 1 litre take home packs but hurry, once they’ve gone, they’ve gone!! πŸŽ„πŸŽ…πŸ»

🧁🍦🍰 BLACK FRIDAY WEEKEND SPECIAL 🍰🍦🧁 We are doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for Black Friday this weekend so come and escape the shops and the Internet, have a brisk, fresh walk on our nature trail and enjoy a hot brew and home made delights..! πŸŽ„β˜ΊοΈ

User

And the road is finally O-P-E-N!! Woop Woop πŸ™Œ. It’s only taken 19 weeks (πŸ™„πŸ˜‘) so why not bob over the the farm for a hot brew and slice of lovely homemade cake before exploring the β€˜new section’ en route to Buxton..! Oh - and don’t forget to stock up on take home packs ready for Christmas..! πŸŽ„

User

It’s Turkey time of year again!!! Christmas is just around the corner and as usual we are selling free-range bronze and white turkeys and free-range geese from a local farm. Order early to avoid disappointment. πŸŽ„πŸŽ…πŸ»

🚧 Roadwork update, week of 12th November! 🚧 The main A54 is closed for pothole repairs between Bosley crossroads and Clulow Cross - therefore - traffic coming from Congleton to Blaze Farm need to drive via Macclesfield and come up Byron’s Lane and Sutton to get to Blaze Farm. However we believe traffic is being let down the A54 from Buxton!!!!! - so hopefully, the end is in sight for our long long 19 weeks of disruption..! πŸ™ˆ Sorry for any inconveniences, we appreciate how frustrating this is..! πŸ™„

Caroline from #pottysheep has been working hard to create this stunning centenary remembrance display. Lest we forget. πŸ™

User

Firstly - the bad news - the road closure has been extended for another 2-3 weeks 😱. Although of course we hope the new barrier will help save lives I can’t express how frustrating, difficult and disappointing this process has been for us. We’ve been cut off from all our passing trade since the end of July and for a small family business that relies on Summer income to keep us ticking over the cold months of the year it’s been a very depressing 18 weeks.
The good news - our Christmas Pudding flavour ice cream is now ready to enjoy in a cone or as a take home pack!! Crammed with sultanas, cherries, peel, spices and nuts this festive treat is a must over the holiday period! We hope to see you soon!🍦😊

User

Thoroughly enjoying all the photos people have been posting following their visits to Blaze Farm - why not come and enjoy an Autumn trip..? Remember to wrap up warm, it’s given a mixed week of weather and remember about the road closure still..!!

User

Don’t forget - we have a handful of wreath making course dates left - see our updated post - PLUS - we have slots left on the mosaic course and table centrepiece courses, not to be missed...!! And did we mention the new Halloween wreath course we’ve just finalised..! πŸŽƒ πŸ‘»...

We visited today . Loved it ! Had a lovely morning in the lambing shed followed by a little light bite and ice cream in the tea room ( hillbilly ice cream is delicious!!!!) The girls in the tea room were lovely as were the girls in the lambing shed , very patient and knowledgeable .

User

We visited the farm today just by chance as we were passing. We are so glad that we did due to the lovely, friendly, and extremely welcoming staff! They have excellent ice cream, with many delicious flavours to choose from and eat the most beautiful setting! You can also tell that they have very well looked after animals! Will defiantly be visiting again soon!

User

We loved it!! Great place, friendly staff and wonderful food and all reasonably priced too, definitely worth a visit! Can I come and help at lambing time next year!!!! So lovely to see all those ewes being cared for so well by the lovely staff, whilst we were there a ewe got in abit of trouble during labour and the man there was so good with her and her new very large headed boy!!!! He gave a lovely reassuring stroke after. Thank you for a lovely day out!

User

We had a great day - well worth a visit, lovely location, great staff and loads to do. We walked the nature trail, fed the chickens and ducks, saw loads of wildlife and got a bit adventurous and had a go on the giant slide. The Rhubarb flavoured ice cream was amazing. We will definitely be going again soon.

User

Was at Gradbach scout site for the weekend . Up from Essex . Popped in with some leaders for afternoon tea. I would recomend every one pops in !! The staff are lovely. Very friendly. Large choice of ice creams and the cakes are yummy!! My choice was sweet potatoe cake .. it tastes amazing. !! οΏ½οΏ½

User

Took my little boy here for the first time today. He loved it. Loved seeing all the animals and going on the nature trail. The staff were really nice. I forgot to withdraw money on my way and usually little places like this don't have card machines. When I told my little boy he wouldn't be able to have ice cream because it was too far to a cash machine. The staff let me pay by bank transfer so he could still have one and I could have a hot drink. The staff were really nice and friendly. And we will come here again.

User

Stumbled across this place this morning whilst trying to find Three Shires, we saw the ice cream sign so thought that would be a perfect place to ask for directions with the added bonus of the most delicious ice cream we’ve ever had οΏ½ yummy and a really friendly vibe οΏ½

Stayed in the camping barn last night. It's basic, but doesn't pretend to be anything otherwise. Can't wait to return in the summer months. It is very easy to get to and a perfect base for walking in the area. The people we spoke to from the farm were very friendly and helpful. Pub close by but we didn't get chance to visit, maybe next time. Cheers.

User

Lovely place to spend a couple of hours. My boys enjoyed the nature trail around the farm land and meeting some of the new arrivals (calfs and piglets) plus Scrabble the cat....it was lovely in the warm afternoon sunshine. To then be rewarded with delicious Hilly Billy ice cream was a treat!

User

Love Blaze farm!

Great home produced ice cream made on the farm!

Great cafe with good food and very reasonable prices!

Love to walk around the farm and see the animals and sit by the pond in the summer!

They cater for kids parties and have a pottery painting workshop!

Picnic tables out the back for cafe food only and nature trails!

A great cheap day out with the kids!

User

Just been to Blaze farm & even though the weather wasn't the best we still had a lovely time! Got to see all the animals, & Caroline was amazing with my little boy who painted in the pottery barn. She was so helpful, kind & patient with him, creating a lovely keepsake plate for me. The Tea Room staff were brilliant, so friendly & helpful. Great service by all. 😊. The food & ice cream was lovely & had a great selection - including gluten free options!! Which was good as my mum has to have gluten free, so it was easy for her to actually sit & eat somewhere out of the house for once. Thank you again 😊❀

User

It's our first visit and definitely will not be our last! It was a cold day but we came prepared suited and booted and super excited and we were not disappointed. It was a busy day on the farm and we had to wait a little while to cuddle the lambs but it was worth the wait my daughter was amazed by the ewes giving birth she's so excited to tell her teachers when she goes back to school it was a lovely experience and the staff were just lovely answering all my questions we had to ask! The Ice cream was out of this world (even on a cold day οΏ½) highly recommend this as a day out you actually see farming at its best and all your questions are answered xx

User

I took my two young children for a summer holiday treat. We really enjoyed seeing all the animals and the short nature trail. The selection of icecream was excellent and we really enjoyed the flavours we chose. As we are local we will be heading back at the weekend to take daddy and the grandparents to try it out too!

User

Have visited a few times and love it here! Went yesterday and it was really busy due to lambing and lovely weather but still very enjoyable and saw a few lambs being born! Lovely food from the cafe. My son enjoyed playing on the tractor and slide and we all enjoyed the nature trail (sheet available at cafe). He had his party here last year and highly recommend it as a party venue too

User

Gorgeous scenery, beautiful and well loved animals, very friendly staff and gorgeous ice cream

User

Came yesterday for the first time and I have to say it was fantastic. My 2 year old loved all the animals. And I loved the ducks with the tuft on the head.

I was a bit concerned about the no picnics due to my daughters allergies. But I messaged them and they got back to me really quickly. And even when I got there I saw an allergy sheet pinned up in the tea room. They even had lollies which a lot of ice cream farms don’t have.

Lastly a great thank you to Caroline at the pottery shop. My girl loved painting her pottery and can’t wait to see the results next week

User

Another great visit to Blaze Farm, the team in the lambing shed (who work around the clock in lambing season) were really happy to answer all our questions despite probably being asked the same thing a zillion times a day! A few cuddles with some baby lambs and after being told about the signs of giving birth we were lucky to see this all happen too!

Generous scoops of ice cream went down a treat with the whole family! οΏ½οΏ½

User

Amazing place.. passed the farm many times and always assumed it would be closed as it was after 4 o'clock. So glad we drove down to have a look. The views are breathtaking and the cream tea was superb. Well worth a visit either to relax or take the kids to explore the farm. Will definitely be calling again.. and soon.

User

A very tranquil and pleasant place. Was surprised how big the working farm is. The shop and tearooms are staffed by the friendliest and most helpful staff you could ask for and the farmyard has enough animals and buildings to look at while you eat your ice cream, after you've made the tough decision of which flavour you're going to have.

I will definitely be visiting again and I may try the pottery painting workshop.
