Y can't we have the power to fine those who park in our disable places.

We could put parking fines on there vans or cars

User

I need a disable parking space because I need my door open as wide as possible to get my feet out. Because of my neuropathy I've got no flexibility in my feet and lower legs, so parking in a normal space is no good to me. And yes when these big vans park and normal cars in the disable zones it does annoy you.also when you see able body people put up a blue badge and park and you know that there is nothing wrongs with them they have got the blue badge for when they take out a disabled member of the family.

User

I have a blue badge and lm very glad of it

User

I had to stop driving but when I get drove in to the town you would not believe the many fraud s are parked in the disabled space s I have to use a wheelchair and it can be hard to get near the door some people just don't think x

User

I am able, in most spaces, to open the car door wide enough to get out easier. However, bit fed up with white vans parking in disabled spaces

User

As this review is about the mobility insurance and not about blue badge parking issues...... I would like to say the staff are great. Easy to set-up very friendly website. We had looked at a few this time as we had gotten a few months with another company and didn't realize there were many out there. Best price and really helpful. Would recommend to anyone

User

We pay for the right to have a blue badge but mother and toddlers don't pay for the same facility a bit unfair I think we are fined if we don't display our badge no one police mother and toddlers . I think mothers should have to display a badge of some sort as well how old is a toddler 2 4 6 8years old where do you stop calling a toddler a toddler

User

People think its there right to park In a BB car bay on a private housing complex, claiming they are disabled, but no BB, but can do works under their car....... absolute disrespect to those with a real disability. The law should be , no Blue Badge or a fine, everywhere

User

It doesn't matter if you can see their disability as long as every car in a disability bay is showing their blue badge

User

If there was enough disable bays it would be easy

User

Have you tried to renew your blue disabled card.

I have, and been refused, because some young lady in an office, with

no medical training, thinks that at the age of 85 ,that my health is improving.

I DONT THINK SO.But I have to face an appeal panel, tomorrow, armed with about 20 pages of my medical history,to try to get my blue card back. Iona Watt, for husband John Watt.

User

Georgina hicks. ! How dare you ( as a disabled person yourself) assume that the person parked next to you is a fraud . not all disabilities are obvious !!!!!!

User

Why can't out of town shops not enforce against people who are not blue badge holders parking in the alloted spaces as M&S do well done to them example tescos two young guys abandon their car in blue badge space run into store 20 minutes later reappear carrying six boxes of beer between them when store security informed answer was not much we can do about it What do you think about problems such as these I now confront non holders and ask them to move or jusy abandon my car behind them until I have finished my shopping if they complain I tell them to call security or police sod them as that's what they think of us disabled ex servicemen and women

User

I am often appalled to see people park in spaces designated for people with a disability. There is no shame or guilt from these selfish drivers. Please can we see & hear of fines or other penalties to prevent this happening so often.

User

Why do people get blue badges, when assessed walk with a stick, but normally walk for long distances without one,??

User

To those who use, blue badge, that are not disabled. Do you know that the disabled person, can have there badge taken off them. You know who you are.
