These warm May days have got me thinking back to the weather last summer and this gorgeous wedding @froyleparkcountryestate installed and set up by my lovely ‘assistant’ @simonnickelldesign
Abi and Piers’ wedding was a true love affair and the flowers reflected Abi’s desire for a truly pretty wedding day ... glorious ivory and blush roses, astrantia, lisianthus and masses of eucalyptus set the tone with gold accents and lots of candles
The bridesmaids wore beautiful navy dres...ses... ahead of this year’s trend for that colour, they looked amazing... oh and will you take a look at that @pronovias wedding dress!!!
It was our first time at this venue and also working with the lovely Sarah @something_white but I hope not the last either! X

This beauty was for the lovely Elizabeth last week @hedsor .... we filled this glorious house with fragrant blooms and plants.... the last of the Lily of the Valley and trailing jasmine greeted guests as they arrived in the hall and surrounded the feet of the Chuppah for the ceremony
Hundreds of gorgeous garden roses and sweet rocket from @therealflowerco and @zestflowerslondon filled the dining room with a sweet fragrance... a few dark pops of plum with scabious, lisianthus ...and lysmachia added a little depth but it was primarily a key palette of ivory, blush and nude

Now I do love subtle colours perhaps with a touch of dark accent but this jewel toned bouquet made for @luluridds last December was such a delight to create
I often don’t know exactly what the finished bouquet will look like until I’ve done it... I just choose the best blooms, the top flowers from my shopping basket of gorgeousness and make a start... I have the brides brief or vision in my mind and an idea of how I want it to look but the choice and shape of the flowers will... often dictate the size and nature of each bouquet making it as unique as each bride x 📷 @cecelinaphotography

This beautiful house is exclusive use for your wedding and you have the run of some amazingly beautiful rooms.... these urns flanked the entrance to the ceremony hall, matched by two further for the ceremony itself

Can you ever really have too many roses....? Occasionally I have a bride who doesn’t like roses or isn’t that fussed about them and we find plenty of other flowers to use instead but I have to confess to a little weakness when it comes to lush spray roses like this Bombastic and my other fave Majolica... the fragrance, shape and movement they give to a bouquet is incredible and most people give in in the end!!! X
