Bluewood Counselling Description
Sometimes difficult feelings can stand in the way of us living our lives as we wish to. Low mood, stress, anger, anxiety and depression can lead to us finding everything a struggle and our normal coping mechanisms are no longer sufficient to help us get through. Getting up in the morning, going to school, heading to work, interacting with friends and family may become too overwhelming and this is where counselling can help.
Counselling provides an opportunity to reflect on early experiences and significant events in our lives, enabling us to explore how these shape our current thinking and behaviour. Key to counselling is for the counsellor and the client to build a relationship based on trust, honesty and mutual respect.
Bluewood Counselling offers a safe, contained and confidential space for you to work with a BACP registered counsellor (BACP Registration No. 277978) to gain insight into your thoughts and feelings and what might lie behind them.
Using psychodynamic and CBT techniques, Bluewood Counselling aims to help you find your own inner strength to live a happier and more fulfilled life.
