Boogie Back Records Description
Boogie Back Records was set up in the early 90′s by musicians & producers Ernie McKone & Oisin Little. In an industry which was ruled by majors at the time their aim was to release music that did not conform to the major pop format. Boogie Back studios a small studio in Muswell Hill was set up in 1988 and they began recording & producing artists. The first release a double A side being Elaine Vassell – Show it to me & Vicotroia Wilson james – time to stop running written & co-produced by Michael J McEvoy.
In what was a growing street soul scene the new bb release was well received and it set them on their way. They went on to put out some 20 12 inch single release & countless compilations and working wihth such artists as lalamoie max beesley micapris omar misty oldland they became a leading force in the british soul scene.
BB is currently working on new releases and looking forward to working with new artists and keeping the street soul scene alive.
