The Nose Martini’, inspired by the tale of Roja Dove, the world’s most respected perfume ‘nose’. The juniper in Hepple gin is obtained using supercritical CO2 extraction – a method from the perfume industry and the delicate aromas of Provence lemon and lavender complete the experience. ‘tails of Discovery, now arrived into London’s Gateway to Europe. https://lc.cx/me5E #tailsofdiscovery #bookingoffice

I loved this place from the moment I stepped through the door. I particularly liked all the original oak panelling which gives the bar a warm and friendly feel. The staff were very friendly and they produced some amazing cocktails. I will be returning soon!

User

I had a wonderful meal (again) at the Booking Office last night. Usually I am eating with others but I was on my own last night and the care and attention shown by staff to make me feel comfortable as a solo diner was much appreciated. I had the smoked salmon and the fish cakes, both absolutely delicious. The bread that is served at the beginning of the meal is beautiful. Keep up the good work!

User

Fantastic cocktails, food, bar staff and atmosphere 😍

User

Called in for breakfast, after a night at the theatre.

Not obvious, from downstairs that this place was here, and nothing from the outside to indicate what was available.

Breakfast was very good, and staff happy to change things for an alternative, if like me, you don't like mushrooms.

It is a bit expensive, but worth treating yourself.

User

Always a brilliant time, enjoyable atmosphere for catching up with friends

User

love this bar but really, is there any need to add a 12.5% service charge for pouring my drink out when I’m sat at the bar?!

User

While £5.60 for a cup of tea was a shock to the system, you’re shelling out for the ambiance and the gorgeous setting. I can ‘t think of a more handsome place in London to sip Darjeeling and people watch. Lovely, welcoming staff, and very fine tea. Well worth a visit.

User

I’ve always had great experiences at The Booking Office and yesterday was no exception. I look my teenage son and a couple of friends to sample the Harry Potter themed Mocktails and Cocktails. Disappointed there were only 2 non alcoholic drinks on offer and my ‘colour changing’ cocktail was very unimpressive. The presentation of the drinks was great, although £50+ I thought was excessive for only one proper drink. That said, the atmosphere was lovely and the staff were helpful and friendly. I might not go back for HP themed drinks, however The Booking Office will always be a favourite place to be.

User

Had a meal last night which was really nice... the scallops were the best I’ve had. The only negative I can think of, was my 30 day aged steak was probably left to rest for too long and was Luke warm at best and the triple cooked chips.... perhaps they were. I was perhaps expecting a lot crispier and fluffy! But I’m no chef, so what do I know? Great place to eat and amazing setting. Cocktails are London prices, so no shocks there. The St Pancras champagne cocktail was very nice. Overall, very good.

User

From the friendly reception, the attentive and proactive waiters, well constructed menu, carefully selected wines, efficient and expert cuisine, there is little more to say. Oh! I forgot, it’s all set in the magnificence of one of the great buildings of London!

User

Great setting but flattered to decive. Eager and well intentioned staff sadly let down by food that took an age to arrive, was luke warm and struggled to taste as good as it looked. Good but not great.

User

Food very nice but service was terribly slow. 30 minutes wait for main course and 20 minutes for dessert!

User

The whole Hotel is brilliant, but I’m afraid the Booking Office restaurant let the whole place down on our last day, the staff were great but something went wrong in the kitchen which meant waiting 45min’s for our meal to arrive and sadly my steak 🥩 was probably the worst I’ve ever had in a restaurant, after saying that we got that meal free and three complimentary glasses of red wine so not all bad but nonetheless disappointing after having such a great weekend at my Daughters Wedding 👰

User

The staff are very nice and eager to please. Unfortunately the kitchen is not, inasmuch as most of the items on the menu were ‘sold out’. Our waiter informed us that food items are sold both to hotel guests and visiting guests. Therefore if the hotel is busy you may be out of luck with your menu choice/s.

User

Got the Sunday roast. Roast was chewy, potatoes were burnt, Cauliflower was cold. Service was terrible. As a true Brit, I finished the meal....at least what wasn’t burnt but very disappointing experience for a place that pretends to be high end.

User

First off, just because I did not book, I was initially fobbed off by the host and put on high chairs. After placing an order, the waitress said she will get us a table as the order won't fit on the small table we were given. As if by magic, the host appeared, offered us a table(knowing we were going to spend £££) which she claimed opened up... well, it's a beautiful place, way over priced,£7.00 for a small ceramic bowl of chips. None the less, I will return, if only for a drink. I agree with others on these reviews, the service is terrible!!! We pay top dollar, the least one expect is a friendly face

User

Was in here for about 5 minuits before leaving. The barman was rude. Very bad attitude. TERRIBLE customer service. Drinks served in a warm glass 🖒 no.

User

Very angry. Went for breakfast this morning sat outside with my dog. 3 different people came to our table serving, not one said anything about no dogs being allowed. (Nowhere says on the beer garden area or the door from here).

Then a man came over shouting at me that I wasn’t allowed on the premises (We had by this point already been seated there for an hour!) and to leave immediately. Which I said I was waiting on my mum and sister in law who were ordering more drinks. He then stormed into the bar and shouted at them that they were to leave immediately after he refunded their drinks. Absolutely mortified treated us like we hadn’t paid for drinks and like we had been causing a problem. 100% will never be back again. Wetherspoons is usually a go to place for us as you usually know what your getting but the way he spoke and dealt with the issues was completely out of order.

User

I went with my sisters cousin and his wife as we heard they were doing Harry Potter cocktails and my family are big fans. The hotel looked amazing but paying £14 for a cocktail which didn’t have anything to do with Harry Potter wasn’t very nice and there wasn’t much of it is a joke and as you can imagine we left after 1 drink and went across the road where prices were fair and drinks were much better
