Borne is a medical research charity that aims to identify the causes of premature birth. Through our research we are working to save lives, prevent disability and create lifelong health for mothers and babies.

Globally, every year, 15 million babies are born preterm, and over 1 million of those will die. Many of those that survive suffer life-long disabilities, yet our ability to reduce prematurity rates is negligible. We simply do not know enough. Borne was founded to find solutions to preterm birth.
