I was pretty ๐Ÿ˜ฑ to scroll through and find my Exmouth Market shop listed as one of the shops on the @the_shopkeepers new maps listing for London! A bit surreal to see my shop feature with so many others I personally look up to! Probably the shop-keepers version of a big pat on the back from an important boss, the Shopkeepes instagram really is a whoโ€™s who of shopkeepers round the world so i feel more than honoured to make their London list! and actually looking at the list I really need to get out of my own shop more and check out some of the beautiful looking shops in the list that I donโ€™t yet know ๐Ÿค—โ˜บ๏ธ @ Exmouth Market

Iโ€™m normally not a fan of our white bouquets designs, till we made this one ๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŒพ๐ŸŒฑ available for delivery across London and nationwide from next week! sadly Bertie doesnโ€™t share my enthusiasm ๐Ÿ˜ด @ London, United Kingdom

Behind the scenes shooting our new bouquet designs today with @yeshen.uk Goose and Bertie took centre stage as usual, with Bertie mostly failing asleep on the job, we used some beautiful backdrops and fancy new plinths, made a right mess, got in a big old stress about whether the products looked ok, and then fled! Our beautiful new summer bouquets will be ready to order for delivery in the next couple of days! Thanks for still letting us back after all these years of mayhem and tennis ball thieving Yeshen! ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’• @ London, United Kingdom

Mayaโ€™s been making some new summer bouquet designs for our online orders today! (Yes those beautiful peonies feature in a bunch too ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ’•)

End of bank holiday mood ๐ŸŒซ but wow didnโ€™t we have a sunny time! Iโ€™m going to be a candle factory again this week, the ever popular Fig and Rosemary is first up. Weโ€™ve 5 candles in our set these days, thinking what else I can add to the collection? Thinking something more musty as floral seems a strong festive at the moment! Whats your favourite scent when it comes to candles? Any suggestions very appreciated ๐Ÿ‘‚๐Ÿค— @ Botanique Workshop

A sweet little spring wreath and friends; including this cool little air plant hanger Noriko made a series of in some lovely coloured and textured glass and pressed flowers safely soldered inside these frames, all we made in our Exmouth market workshop ๐Ÿ”จ ๐Ÿ’ซ ๐Ÿ’•

Celebrating 7 years of shop keeping today ๐ŸŽˆopening a shop was the possibly the maddest most spontaneous thing I ever did, a decision made almost entirely to avoid having to get a proper graduate job! Iโ€™m so glad to have taken that leap of faith without an ounce of retail experience and a very steep learning curve to climb. I should think Iโ€™m completely unemployable at this point so I had better keep finding ways to keep my business alive and bustling ๐Ÿ™ƒ ๐Ÿ’•

Bossing Church Street today with their newly installed throne. Welcoming or blocking customers, not sure which. Meanwhile weโ€™ve got a lovely new window display, featuring... you guessed it, dried flowers ๐Ÿ’ซ @ Stoke Newington Church Street

... and thatโ€™s a wrap! Blown away by the reception we got with this dried flower accessories collection at @andotherstories ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ’• So silly to think I was so nervous that no one would actually want to wear this stuff... How wrong was I! So excited to launch all these things in our own shops tomorrow, pretty happy about that so I can carry on making them and spreading my love (obsession) with dried flowers... so, what else can I make out of dried flowers ๐Ÿค”

Such a brilliant first day for us @andotherstories Regent Street today! I am so thrilled that everyone was (nearly) as excited about these beautiful things weโ€™ve been making as I am!! So many brides to be and others planning special occasions picking out hair pieces and earrings to wear! Of course I wore earrings and a hair comb all day which is enough fun in itself! I mean just look at the dress I get to wear too, what a lovely collection of clothes to accompany our flowers ๐Ÿฅฐ Very proud indeed, see you tomorrow Regent Street! photos courtesy of @andotherstories ๐Ÿ’ซ @ & Other Stories

I am quite the dried flower hair accessory factory this week! All these hair pins and combs plus a gazillion more have been made and Iโ€™m now onto earrings! All in preparation for their launch at @andotherstories Regent Street Store this Thursday! And then in our own shops next week... Iโ€™m so excited to wear these clips with one of the beautiful new &other stories occasion and bridal wear dresses at the pop up that are being launched alongside our creations on Thursday too! Somethings finally getting me out of my scruffy jeans... now all we need is some summer weather ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐ŸŒพ๐ŸŒž

Iโ€™m so happy I painted all those walls pink in the Exmouth Market shop the other week. Doesnโ€™t it look nice with our green tiles? ๐Ÿ’• For anyone wondering how I did it. Well. I was sort of aiming for a paint effect that looked like plaster and had been looking at dyed plasters to buy online for a while but was a bit overwhelmed by what to choose and how I would do it. I wanted to get something a bit stronger in colour than the standard raw plaster we used for the walls in our H...eals pop up and in our studio downstairs at Exmouth. But then I just decided to sod that one day and started mixing up a load of tester pots I had in blush and terracotta tones along with some white. I just poured quite random amounts of a few colours onto a plate, didnโ€™t mix them at all I just started painting onto the wall, sort of mixing as I painted but not mixing entirely as thatโ€™s the whole point of the effect I guess. It was so much fun and I ended up painting quite a few walls that day (ran out of the tester pots pretty quick so raced down to Leylands). I still have some paint left so might have to take my paint brush on a trip to the stokey shop some day soon!
