I had lunch with friends on a Saturday afternoon. It's in a great location and has a chilled grown up ambiance but it's overpriced for the 'regular' food which was of a good standard but nothing special.

Some of the service staffs attitude needs addressing - our main waiter was seriously lacking personality and charm - and jokers looked scruffy.

We weren't rushed and stayed on our table for 4 hours so I was impressed with this. We were asked if we'd like to move outside but we declined as the weather looked ify and this seemed no problem as there were plenty of tables inside still.

The assumed service charge was ridiculous so we made a token gesture when paying.

Overall a good spot for a casual lunch and catching up with friends.

User

Great location, lovely food but crazily overpriced. Our service was really good, we ate inside with a perfect view and then had coffee outside in the sun. A very expensive but thoroughly enjoyable lunch.

Manager is very arrogant and rude, reflects all of the other comments on here. Queued for 40mins for the 2 groups behind us to be seated first. Service is very slow (we watched a number of people leave), food is ok though overpriced, but steak was burnt (the manager tried to convince me that I didn't know what steak should taste like). Nice setting for a summers day, just ruined because of how the staff manage the place. 3 stars because the sun was shining and we struck up a conversation with the couple next to us about how bad the place was!

User

It's ok food a bit pricey but it's a good place to stop to have a break while your shopping

User

Hmmn friends 50 th birthday ..great ambience on the roof ..the food is average .the service average bur obliged with our cake for our friend prices average ..we paid £600 bill plus others had bought 3 bottles of veuve previously and then we were refused a table outside on the terrace for a nightcap ..Epic Fail there ..it was 10 .15 and there was an empty table outside ..

User

Rude arrogant manager with no customer service, weak cocktails, staff flying around at high speed, just a few of the reasons why we won't be returning. Fortunately we resolved our issues with the rooms division manager after we were escorted off the rooftop (as we had been there past our allotted time). Amazing how a 'manager' can totally ruin somewhere that could be such a gorgeous place to relax and enjoy well needed time.

My mum and I were here yesterday for a few wines. Whilst the location and the roof top bar was lovely, people were openly doing drugs at the tables. Drug dealer walking in sitting to men next to our table, talking openly and then leaving 5 minutes later whilst exchanging 'coke' I told the waitress and she didn't seem bothered as if it were normal. Won't be coming back

User

Great location and views but very unhappy. Ordered a bottle of wine they were going to serve us something complete different which was more expensive and charge us without telling us. After we paid in cash and money in the till they then asked for another £10 saying we had unpaid them!!!! So not happy

User

Food was nice, not exceptional. Staff and kitchen management were rubbish - 4 main courses out and a 15 minute wait for the fifth main course - no apology, no explanation, just tryied to style it out and pretend it was "just coming", "still just coming", "I'll check....". Drinks are fearsomely expensive and pretty mediocre too. Certainly wouldn't go a second time.

This week the family that owns the Boundary hotel closed 3 restaurants and left more than 50 people without paying.

They change the name of the company this way they didn't had to face the payments to there employees.

What a shame I think we shouldn't promote places like this where they use there employees that way playing with people's life's.

Pay us Sir Terrance !!!

The rooftop bar at Boudary is well located and very cute, but that's the only star it deserves. Service is average, absolutely no effort is made on decoration (not even a candle on the table), the food is overpriced and the wine selection is poor. Still it will cost you more than 80£ for taking your girlfriend, having only 1 course and 1 glass each.

People who think having a rooftop at a nice address is enough to practice this kind of pricing must be told. Guys, you have all the cards for a great place, but you ruin it by your lack of effort.
