Bovey's Down is a working Devonian farm run by Pam & Gerald Sweetland.
We are a fully license for weddings in our Woodland Wedding Pavilion and Swallow's Rest Barn
We offer camping all year round, and glamping from March to September.
Tea room , winter hours.
Open every day except Tuesdays, for cream teas and other meals. Thurs /Fri /Sat evening opening, Booking advised.
Bovey's Down Farm is a local long established catering company offering bespoke cuisine for your special occasion.

Wonderful place to stop by at, the most delicious creams teas served by the nicest people. Even visited Axminster market to buy extra scones and a burger! Pam & Gerald are lovely and taught us a little bit about cattle and were brilliant with the 5 year old that we had with us, both are a special part of our holiday xxx
We stopped for a cream tea at the farm and we were not disappointed at all. They were very friendly and the food was delicious.
Definitely one to visit again. ☺
We stayed here a year or so ago, can't wait to stay again soon! The home cooking was amazing, and pam and Gerald are lovely.

The carrot cake which is avaliable at Axminster Market is the bestest. Mmmmmm. I'm sure the cakes at the campsite are just as amazing as everyone says. :)
Love this farm and the campsite... checkout Janet's caravan , a real bargain to stay in there any time of year.

Just simply love this place. Have been camping here for 15 years. You will always get a warm welcome and I suggest you have a cream tea as I think they are the best. This is a good location as you can get to lots of different beaches and areas. I suggest you go to Lyme Regis which is a lovely calm bay and fantastic beach for the kids and coffee shop for the adults. Enjoy

Best cream tea ever, huge delicious scones and a good helping of cream, perfect! Recommend trying the honey on top instead if jam!
