After the huge sucess in its first year, Boxted 10k returns in 2019, bigger and better than ever - now with 10k, 5k and 2k races for all the family.

After the success of the first Boxted 10k last month and the fantastic amount raised for the school we will be back next year. Again, 100% of the profits will go to the school.

Our steering group is meeting Thursday to discuss a new #10krun date for #2019. #watchthisspace. #2k #funrun will be included and we are considering incorporating a #5k following the popularity of our event.

The day is tomorrow! I can't believe it's finally here! Myself and the team want to wish you all the best of luck. We hope you have a great run and an amazing time at the #funday. Dreamwave Events have upgraded their PA system to full sound production. A member of their team will be playing family friendly tunes throughout the fun day from a quality speaker system. Vanessa Vitality Fitness will be performing her warm up through the system. So everyone of our 350 #10k runners will hear her and her music loud and clear!!!! We will also have a live singer performing and the school choir singing at various points. Top effort for a first time event! Course was great, a really good challenge and plenty to keep the mind active. Good crowd as it weaved back into the playing fields too. Great day and would thoroughly recommend to others, and I will be doing just that!
Really nice course, well organised with plenty of water stops, and great support from the Marshalls and public. Looking forward to next year
I marshalled today and what a wonderful set up, course and team! Well done to organisers and runners. Raffle prizes and food stalls also amazing and managed to win twice!
Great event, and a great course, not for PB's but they don't all have to be. A nice mix of road and off road.

A well organised challenging event. The run was nothing like many of the other events in this area, which tend to be flat races. This provided a mix of different terrain and tricky climbs. I will definitely be taking part again next year and be encouraging others to do likewise.
My only observation for next year would be to ensure it doesn't clash with the Para's 10 event. This would attract more runners looking for a challenging event, I have spoken with friends who would have done Boxted 10K if the events didn't clash. You have a really unique selling point, run with it!
