We loved dinner at Boyd's, so good we made reservations the second time for my birthday. The quail was amazing, service excellent and the ambience is elegance and comfort combined. We will definitely return!

We had a marvellous experience at Boyds, mainly due to Ian's cocktail making knowledge and skills! We enjoyed the cocktails so much last night that we returned this evening. Ian gave us a first class service; professional and friendly. We will be back!

Recently enjoyed two wonderful evenings being amazed by the cocktail skills of Ian. Combined with the teams friendly service we had a special time. Planning to be in London in February and Boyds will be top of our to do list.

Really impressed with this place. Attentive staff an reasonably priced. Made my wife a cocktail that wasn't on the menu. Good food - Steak cooked to perfection - as were the cheesy chips. A nice touch at the end with a complimentary dessert - just because it was our wedding anniversary. Will go back

Pre theatre dinner, fabulous food and service. Lovely building and dinning area, with an amazing bar. Highly recommend, will definitely go back if the opportunity arises.

My husband & I were up in town for a few hours on Saturday before going to the Theatre. After wandering around a packed Regent Street and Carnaby Street we were slowly making our way towards The Vaudeville Theatre on The Strand and thinking of where to stop for some pre-show drinks.



Having visited Boyds before we decided to pop in and it was perfect as the moment we walked in and left the packed, noisy streets we enter a place of calm, relaxed sophistication.



We sat up at the bar and enjoyed 2 Gin & Tonics & we left feeling totally revived and looking forward to our show. The staff are very friendly and the ambience is elegant but casual.



Totally recommend - if you are in or around Trafalgar Square walk a little way down Northumberland Avenue go inside & have a drink or two at Boyds Brasserie (the food's great as well!)

Love the name, bar staff absolutely amazing and friendly, felt like I've known them all my life., highly recommend also very good value for money.,

Just wanted to compliment the service I received there. I stayed at the club hotel this past weekend, and the bar was a terrific part of that stay. Many compliments to Laura, the mixologist.

Great relaxed atmosphere, enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff, tasty and creative food. We weren't rushed and could hear each other chat. Perfect!

Food, service and surroundings excellent. We had a very enjoyable lunch off the pretheatre menu. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we will definitely return. Perfect place to relax and unwind from the bustle of the area. Good value too.

Would call in just for a drink or a coffee if I was in the area again.

A memorable Birthday Meal…the restaurant beams with elegance throughout … service was topnotch & personal … dinner was beautifully presented; a delicious fish cake for starters, followed by a scrumptious sea bass for mains, ending the night with a lovely surprise, a "Happy Birthday" labelled toffee Pudding cake with freshly made custard & ice cream for two… the perfect evening (28.4.16)

Had dinner before heading to the theatre. Good service, good food and good atmosphere, not much more you could ask for!

Food was really good. Very annoying to have to ask the staff to give access to the lift for the toilets. It was also very cold in the restaurant

I'm so sorry to say that it was not good at all, it took time to place the order, it took time to get the drinks, the first course was okay but my main course ( chicken) was the driest chicken I've ever had. Good luck you will need it. ���

We tried to stop in for an after dinner drink and dessert. It took a awhile for one of the unpleasant expressionless waitresses to acknowledge us. She acted if we were inconveniencing her but she took my drink order and said she would get the dessert menu and walked away without taking my spouses order. We never saw her again. We asked another even more unpleasant waitress if we could order and she pointed to drinks in front her and said she was working on these and she thought her colleague had taken our order. We asked where the colleague was and she said in the back making cheese plates for a table. She then reluctantly took our order and went away doing other things. We left and went somewhere else. Why doesn't this place have a proper bartender and why does everyone that works there look mad at the world?
