... Braintree BMX Summer Series is run every Wednesday evening from 9th May to August. Registration is open to all riders, £4 members, £7 non-members.Membership £15 under 16, £20 17 and over. 11 from 17 rounds to count for an end of series trophy. The track is open fro 530pm, registration closes at 645pm and racing is from around 7pm.

One world championships, two world finalists for the Bullets. On Tuesday we had Oli Cutmore in the 25-29 cruiser, returning to racing after breaking his back, hip and shoulder in March. He won through to the final and scored a solid 6th place. Today we had Seb Pantlin in the 14s, who was looking good for a podium following some wins through the qualifiers. In the final he got a little shut down and then it got messy in the first turn and crashed out but got up and finished 8th. We're super proud of both the lads and look forward to seeing them back at the track next week.
Congratulations to this week's winners who have get their "Treats with the chairman". Tom Knight rolled the lucky 6 for the Payback Roulette cash and Chloe Ollett who put in some great laps for the rider of the night trophy. We're racing again on Sunday with the No Clips world's event. Trophies for the top 3 in all classes and added fun events with prizes for the winners. Practice from 1000, registration closes at 1130 and racing from 1200. Open to all racers 🤘

Not going to Baku? Like a bit of flat pedal BMX racing? Then get down to Braintree for the Official No Clips Worlds 2018. Alongside the formula racing we'll be running a King of Dirt, Squirt of Dirt, Chainless Pump Race, Rocker Race and a Team Relay.
Registration will close at 1130am on the day - £6 per rider, additional classes £1.
... Top 3 trophies for all main race classes, prizes for all additional classes (possibly cash!!).
Formula age groups: F5- 7 and under F4- 8-9 F3- 10-12 F2- 13-16 Elite (Payback Roulette)- 16+ Senior- 25+ 12 and under female 13 and over female
Timetable: 0900 - Car Park 0930 - Track open 1030 - Gates 1200 - Racing Practice for additional events and exact timings will be made on the day.

Just visited for the first time today to watch the nationals, absolutely blown away by the atmosphere and great racing. There were so many people, it was amazing. Our 5 year old said he wants to do it and I'm guessing this isn't a bad place to start looking at the track and other peoples comments. Tbh, I wouldn't mind a go either!. So convenient only 20 mins away, can't believe we haven't been over before!. We will be back.... FAB, and well done everyone
