Last night I attended a stress and anxiety talk at the lovely @theyogashed Did you know that 75% of all illness is stress related? Stress infiltrates our lives, causing problems when we cannot cope with it-compromising our immune systems and opening us up to illness and disease. Mental health can affect anyone any day of the year. SELF CARE 🧑 Last week I sat on the beach watching the waves with my two gorgeous friends, we had a much needed mini break away and practiced self care - we chatted, laughed and allowed ourselves to completely relax-it was heaven πŸ’• Self care is so important to maintain a healthy relationship with yourself, it produces positive feelings which improves confidence, self esteem and energy. This then benefits others around you, giving others the encouragement to do the same. So pra...ctice some form of self care every day, no matter how small-going for a walk after dinner, having some reflexology, listening to a podcast in the bath, practising a 20 min yoga YouTube session before bed (@adrienelouise is my hero πŸ’›) cooking, dancing, reading - anything as long as you enjoy it and you feel good. Last night my mum, sister and I had a beautiful dinner at @thegrovehotel Potting Shed. The calm, rustic and relaxed setting along with probably the best food I’ve had in a long time was just heavenly but the main thing was how we got to sit for a couple of hours uninterrupted chatting and laughing πŸ’•It can be easy to take for granted spending time with loved ones especially when they live close by but it is so important to make that quality time for each other, to put our phones away, listen and to properly catch up without any distractions. So this week make time for yourself..and each other πŸ’›#happymonday

For those who have not tried reflexology, it really is a must. Sarah has a beautiful relaxing treatment room and a first class service to go with it.

During my pregnancy I am suffering with lower back ache, but after just a few treatments with Sarah the tension eased dramatically and I always come out of the treatment feeling so calm and zen - which I know is good for both me and the baby. Thank you so much.
