Had a great meal here yesterday. Doom Ale pudding with spring onion/cheese mash and green beans with gravy. It was delicious. The staff were very friendly and considering how busy they were we didn’t have to wait too long for our meals.

User

Great venue, we had two main course meals for £8.99 in total. A member of staff came to us twice to ask if the meals were to our satisfaction, which they were. Drinks were reasonably priced. The venue was clean and tidy with nice decor and carpets. The staff were very helpful and polite. We will be going back again soon. thank you for an enjoyable time.

Came for a meal with my other half on 14th Feb. He had the Black & Blue burger & absolutely loved it & I had the Beef & Doom Bar pudding. Absolutely thoroughly enjoyed it....could've eaten it all again. We also had the Lemon Meringue & the Dirty Mud Pie...bloody gorgeous as always & the service was spot on. Well done Brewer's Fayre.

There was 4 of us , we all had the carvery, beef was very good, roast potatoes were very small and tasted awful, one of us had profiteroles for dessert, instead of chocolate sauce it was caramel so spoilt it, I had a refill Diet Pepsi , tasted different and looked watered down, was given another Diet Pepsi from the bar which was totally a different colour than the refill Pepsis, wont be coming back in a hurry.

I ordered Tenesee rib eye steak. It was tough and full of fat so I had to send mine back whilst my husband ate his. By the time I got another one my husband had almost finished his. So much for eating out together. The glaze was more of a drenched gravy which smothered the plate so much my fries were swimming in it and any sign of crispy onion went out of the window. I had normal fried soggy onion slapped on the top. Altogether a very bad experience. Also my husband's medium rare steak was nearer to medium well.

User

Decent burger quite like the wedges with bacon cheese and spring onions

Tonight we took our 2 Grandchildren for tea, we ordered desserts at the same as the children’s meals. A few minutes later the desserts were brought out!! No mains!! The waitress said “oh your not ready for these are you” & took them back. 55 minutes later after asking twice where our meals were we got our mains. A few minutes later we were asked if everything was ok with our food, my husband said no actually mine is cold! The comment was ignored & we were asked if everything else was ok!! My husband commented on his meal again & he was asked if he wanted a replacement, we didn’t have the time to wait another hour for this! The whole experience was unpleasant & was supposed to be a treat for the children. We’ll choose somewhere else next time!!

Had 2 nights stay at Premier inn next door 1st night chips dry but fish burger quite nice. Tonight fish n chips waited almost an hour and fish didnt seem fresh but frozen and so very near the sea!! But then its budget food with budget service Disappointed

User

Well what can I say.......the lady who took the order messed it up so by the time my step mum got her meal we had finished ours, the meals were cold and the service was absolutely disgusting, none of the waiting staff had a smile on their faces and their Christmas spirit had definitely gone for the year. I can honestly say I will never eat here again!

User

Waited an hour and a half for our main courses. When they came most of it was cold. While waiting for our dinner we had seats next to the kids toy machine which was horrible. Constantly kids running Around and around.

User

Waited 45 minutes for our breakfast and eventually asked for a refund after finding out the staff lost our order. Older gent working in the restaurant was eating every time he left the kitchen and staff were stood around talking while we went hungry. Always use this place when staying in boston but we'll look elsewhere in future.

User

Terrible food. Ribs were disgusting and the chocolate brownie tasted Burt and stale. Worst meal I can think of that I have ever eaten!! Disgraceful.

User

Food over cooked, Scampi that crisp couldn't get a fork in so dry. Ignored when tried to speak to staff for over 10 mins before a young girl came and wasn't helpful. Free desert for one but wasn't free as I'd paid for a meal I couldn't eat. Can see why on a bank holiday your not busy.
