We were there for a celebration getting a GOOD grade for our ofsted at little acorns nursery. Food was excellent? Quick service, hot good and so yummy. The waiter Adrian was so lovely and friendly, service with a smile. Very helpful went out of his way to make sure we had a fantastic evening.

We had a meal there last night! There were 15 adults and 3 children! The food was lovely and I could not fault the staff, they were very friendly and helpful and dealt extremely well with such a large party

Staff are always helpful and friendly, place is clean and there is a table when we book .

Night out to celebrate a colleagues retirement lovely food and a lot if it. Staff very helpful on the night and also the only place that would take a booking for a Saturday night. The only downside was last orders at the bar was called and closed at the same time that was a first for me to see.

I took my family over there last night the food weren’t great paid £4 for a starter of pate and the presentation was bad lump of pate and 2 bits of bread (no salad or relish as you normally get ) hunters chicken bacon burnt to crisp and cheese not melted Mains are very poor I can honestly say only use the potters arms because it’s close and we could not all fit in the car drinks are fine but then you can’t go wrong

User

Had a lovely meal with family shame they had run out of the meat for the carvery the staff were lovely

User

Food not bad, not enough staff on we were a party of 18, would be better if the food was ordered at the table not at the bar, needs more vegetarian choice

Had a jug of pina colada, was more like milk in ice, couldn't taste any Malibu in it & Took almost an hour for food and when it came it wasn't hot was luke warm and my daughters sweet potato fries were cold, now I know why I haven't been here in years

User

Will not be coming back . . Awaited an age for the food.. food came, found an hair, food replaced. New mixed grill in front of me to only find the the stack knife cover in old baked on food.. absolutely disgusting....

User

Popped there on lunch with some colleagues, ordered 2 sandwiches and some chips. After asking how long it would be we was told the order hadn't even been put through!!! Was asked for receipt and money would be returned. No apology or gratitude shown.. now have to go back to work without having eaten. Not impressed.

User

Not good value at all. I had a spicy chicken sandwich which was breaded chicken with peri peri sauce poured all over the bread. Served with potato dippers well I had about 6 on my plate. Complete waste of money. Staff are more interested in chatting to each other than the customers. Don’t bother go elsewhere

User

Just been served raw chicken to be told I know it's pink but it's cooked

First of all the star is dedicated to the floor staff and bar staff they were amazing! Very cooperative and responsive to our requests. However my family of which involved 4 generations and drove 2.5 hours to have this meal were extremely disappointed - with the ‘manager’ JODIE. We arranged having a family Christmas get together and receiving our ‘carvery’ at £10.99 per head with approximately a 12 of us it some what resembled what I have seen at a homeless persons shelter, especially the pathetic amount of turkey dished up. After complaining to the head chef and manager Jodie who was on floor, I explained how I’ve worked in restaurants and the portion size was adismal. After trying to defend their carvery they took our plates back and gave us more meat... we finished our dinner, and JODIE approached our table very abruptly, explaining how we had ordered 4 Christmas puddings and was extremely adamant, persistent and damn right rude. After a family member tried correcting her error as not one person on our table likes Christmas pudding, she became extremely defendant of which told us (my grandad) to ‘calm down‘ or we’d have to leave. My grandad pulled her to the side as her attitude was becoming unacceptable after she was clearly unable to deal the demands of her job when being corrected. The magnificent thing about this is we have the whole thing on camera as we was on Facebook live as she approached the table regarding the ‘four Christmas puddings we ordered’. We have emailed head office about a complaint and all we’ve had back is the head office sticking up for the manager Jodie. Absolute disappointment all round. If head management wants to see the video of her unacceptable approach then please contact me it would be my pleasure. However after reading your response to my sister in law after we complained sounds like you couldn’t care less.
