About Bright Futures Societies
Bright Futures Societies are the UK's biggest network of student-led employability societies on campus!
Bright Futures Societies Description
Bright Futures Societies help students stand out in the competitive market! Each society is run by students, for students and are supported by MyKindaFuture.
We started back in 1977 at Cambridge University where a group of students, keen to develop their commercial awareness and transferable skills, created the Student Industrial Society (SIS). After initial success at Cambridge, we grew the network to over 50 university societies. Over time, we changed our name to Bright Futures and in 2015 we merged with MyKindaFuture!
Today, we still have a network of over 50 student led societies at universities across the UK who are supported by the National Team from MyKindaFuture based in London!
As well as supporting our network of Bright Futures Societies, we run a range of national events, publish a monthly e-magazine 'Hired' and are constantly on the look out for opportunities to make our students more employable!
