This Saturday we are hosting a charity pool match from 7pm - please note we are not accepting any new players now (unless already arranged with Kev) all players must be here for 6.15pm for the match draw.
There will be a free BBQ for all players after 7pm onwards.
A SMALL cash prize will be awarded to the winner

The fantastic RURAL OUTCASTS play at The Britannia this Friday from 9pm

We have a charity pool match organised by Kev Wilde coming up on April 22nd from 7pm.
There is still time to register but everyone playing MUST pay the £5 entry fee by next Saturday April 15th.
Entry fee will include either a buffet or BBQ with a small cash prize for the winner.
... All money raised on the night will be donated to The Lennox Childrens Cancer Trust.

What a gorgeous meal this evening- absolutely delicious food, delightful people and really good value. We loved there being no menu and instead being told today's dishes. Everything was beautifully cooked, served quickly and piping hot. Our new favourite place! Thank you

This was my first visit with my family and we will definitely go back. Food was excellent and amazing value for money. The staff were very friendly and made sure we were topped up with food.

The service is friendly and attentive -for example, we went with a Hindu friend once and she was offered her own lamb curry instead of the beef. They serve Colchester Brewery beer.

I've been meaning to try this restaurant for a while and finally made it this evening. The restaurant is at the side of the pub which was surprisingly busy for 6:30pm. The owner was really friendly and explained how their restaurant worked. There is only a set menu and you are served what is in season. There are three course and the main is generally a white meat dish, dark meat dish & two vegetable dishes plus rice and naan type bread. They pride themselves in serving homes cooked style food which was really lovely. The three courses are £15 pp with drinks extra which is fantastic value. I particularly liked the fact that I had no idea what I was going to get and I will definitely return and look forward to the surprise - whatever it may be!

I was in Essex working I came up from Edinburgh and this was by far the nicest place I ate, the setting was nice it was welcoming and I loved the way you came through from the bar which was a real British pub and immediately got the feeling you were in a lovely Nepalese dining area the atmposphere was perfect, the staff and particularly the restaurant manager and hostess were brilliant! The food was an easy 11/10 the The best mutten curry I've ever had!!! I wish this place was near me so I could go again, I don't give many reviews because I'm lazy but this place was well worth writing about!!!

I didn't think I would like it as I don't like Indian food. However, as it was a birthday party I went along... It was lovely! I ate a bit of everything. The staff were really lovely and accommodating. Thank you :)
