Brixton Village is a 1930s market arcade in central Brixton. In 2009 saved from demolition life was breathed into the space with Independent traders.

Brixton Village is a 1930s market arcade in central Brixton. In 2009, it was looking a bit downhearted and a proposal to knock it down and build flats was overturned by our supporters who desperately wanted to keep this important community hub. . . it worked and Spacemakers were asked to help by letting spaces to a wave of pop-up projects and new food, boutique, artists & fashion shops initially for free. These local traders took a risk and breathed life back into the empty market thus supporting the last original traders. . they have cheered all the place up and with their hard work have made it a brilliant happy success.
Monday Limited traders are open 8am to 6pm
Tuesdays to Sundays 8am to 11. 30pm
