Staying the weekend in Tooting we wandered into the Broadway Market not quite knowing what to expect. My fiancée and I immediately loved the diverse nature of all the bars and restaurants combined with a friendly atmosphere throughout. After walking all round we eventually decided to eat at Ulam, though the choices on offer are many and varied. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff brilliant, particularly the young lady who waited on our table, who was both courteous and wonderfully chatty. If you’re in Tooting for the night and would like a quite different and enjoyable evening out we thoroughly recommend you pay this place a visit!

I have traveled all over the world and visited many markets. This one was one of my favorites. I think Tooting has a diverse culture and it shows in the market. Everyone polite and friendly and the bar and restaurant owners are professional with great flair and creativity. My favorites are Tequila Taqueria and Bordelaise but also loved buying fresh fish from the fish market.

Well this place has changed !! A relaxed Saturday night in an eclectic and vibrant indoor market area that must change from day stalls to weekend eats and drinks. We ate at Plot - communal tables and a chance to chat to strangers, a small menu but wonderful plates of delicious food. Following on it was cocktails and impromptu dancing to the great music playing from the bar! A great, funny evening. The only reason it’s not 5* is the toilets. They need a bit of sprucing up as you wander in - and last night there was no water in the toilets or sinks.
