Nice place to take kids for a cheap day out, worth a look , my kids enjoy it so much , it's quite difficult to get them out of the pool

User

I just love this place. It is my place to escape. Everyday is different when you swim; the view of the clouds or sunny skies ,the temperature and ripples of water on your back are ever-changing. Quiet days for relaxing, busy days for people watching after a long swim. My favourite retreat. ☺

User

Great place for a gym and swim (any time of the year)!

User

Great Lido & outdoor pool. Even has an

Outside sauna November-April

User

Was a lovely day, hot with a cool breeze. Lots of people there. Wish there was more chairs to sit on as sitting on the floor was hard going. Would recommend

User

The staff was helpful as the parking notice is out of date so gave us another number to call. Bring mats or towels to lie on as it's pretty basic around the pool. There is a decked area. We brought a packed lunch which is fine ( no glass or alcohol). The pool was clean but can get busy with families with inflatables & balls. On the whole it made for a nice few hours especially if you spend time in the park too.

User

Loved my two days at the lido ........google does have incorrect opening hours and staff not overly helpful when enquiringly about lido membership but was great to get a swim and find a small corner to read my book a very relaxing London experience in this tropical weather 😎☀️😎😎😎 Ps Lido cafe do an amazing banana bread french toast 😍

User

The Luna Cinema production of Titanic was fantastic. The Lido location is very nice. However, the little cafe/stall that was serving food was terrible. Ordered 2 burgers, 2 fries, a pack of crisps and 2 glasses of wine. They forgot 1 portion of fries. The 1 portion they did bring was over cooked and cold. They forgot the wine. I had to go back and ask. They forgot the crisps. I had to ask 3 times for the wine, crisps and fries. It took them 15 minutes to give me the fries and one of the burgers was served cold. Such a shame. Luna Cinema 5 , Lido food 1

No control at the deep end my daughter nearly got flattered by kids pushing each other in. And maybe rethink your maximum numbers and be away with so many swimming lanes on the weekend maybe only two in stead of 4 hence the over crowding at the deep end. But overall we had a lovely day so thanks for that. It's just my feed back nothing personal I've grown up there and have great memories as a kid and would hate for it to close.

User

Great pool, great cafe and great atmosphere. But come on Lido, at 10am this morning, the poolside area was still filthy with litter from yesterday. Not enough bins and no staff keeping on top of it throughout the day.

While the staff are friendly at the Brockwell Lido, Fusion Lifestyle is a total joke. I would much prefer to sign up to Brockwell Lido as an independent. Yes, the women's bathrooms stink like the wretched waft of bad plumbing. Half of the machines don't work, because the touch screens are defunct. Half the time the toilet rolls and paper towels are empty, but I could see past that because it's the closest gym to my house. As for Fusion Lifestyle, the Fusion "Manager" doesn't manage to respond to multiple e-mails, nor does the main office. One time, I arrived at 6.30am and they hadn't even managed to open the building? At 7am I was still standing outside with 30 - 40 other people, before giving up and going home. We didn't receive any form of apology. As a result, I have e-mailed several times to cancel my account and they don't respond at all, but continue to take money from my account each month. I've had to contact my bank and block Fusion Lifestyle from taking money from my account. Fusion Lifestyle has done absolutely nothing for me and I would advise against giving them your bank account details wherever possible. Absolutely useless and not even worth 10p. I'd much prefer to sign up with Brockwell Lido directly, but as I am planning to leave London in 2 months and I've already had the funds taken from my account, I'll just continue to use it until I leave. Still, the touch screens are in need of repair, just like the rancid plumbing.

User

I usually love the lido but this is UNSAFE

I swim numerous times a week throughout the year

I have never seen the lido so filthy and dangerous

The litter around the lido is a heath hazard. Old plasters, tissues and sharps.

Plastic cups and ketchup packages flying into my face with the wind

The bins u emptied from the day before

The old tress and the bushes at the back still not cleared and rubbish tangled in it all

Clumps of hair and old rubbish in the showers

Broken toilet doors for week

AND THEN THE POOL??!!!

I could not see in the pool with Google’s on today

There were HUGE clumps of hair that I nearly chocked on

This is so dangerous

Along with rubbish tissues plasters cigarettes

I know there has been a heat wave but you have a duty of care to keep us safe

You should also take pride in the lido and keep it clean and pristine

It is unsafe for children to be in that water and surrounding areas

I requested a refund as I nearly choked on hair and the manger could not process a refund??

I informed her that the pool and seating areas are dangerous and children are at risk

PLEASE take action and advice from other lidos how to clean the pool and get regular (morning and night?) Cleaner’s in??

It is such a shame for it to get so neglected and unsafe

User

Great equipment now... why can’t you ensure the paper towel doesn’t run out every day and why for the love of all that is holy can you not replace those Awful soap dispensers... you seem to only do anything about a public shaming- who does this need to be escalated to?

User

For the <3 of God, PLEASE stop playing that awful music SO LOUD. We are paying to use your gym facilities, if we ever feel like going to a club or a disco we can pay that club or that disco to hear this type of music there. Why should I keep paying you to hear club music in a gym!

Did you not notice that almost every gym goer is wearing headphones? We are all try to avoid having to endure the torture that you are submitting us to. Your music is so loud that is even overpowering the extreme Metal music that I have to play on my headphones. Keep in mind, that not only "my" music is not naturally low in volume, but I am also using Poweramp, an App that boosts the sound to 15....and I can STILL listen to your awful super LOUD music. This is how loud your music is! Please STOP this madness, stop the torture.

User

The terraces are filthy dirty and covered in dead shrubbery. It's been like this for weeks

User

Rat droppings all over the floor poolside near the bins by the changing room/main entrance this morning - a danger to health, particularly young kids, and unswept even by 9.30am. Bins clearly not being emptied at night. Pool water filthy with bits of rubbish, filters almost blocked up, floors everywhere inside and out filthy and unwashed and unswept. Get a grip, Fusion! This is a beautiful iconic pool being ruined by poor care.

User

Pretty poor. The steam room was not working, the showers were not working and we were going out after our visit without having had a proper shower. Not been down for a bit but i am informed by someone else that this has been the case for about three weeks now which is clearly unacceptable.

I would suggest you post on social media when things are not working to save a wasted journey. It is not the first time I have suggested this so I would assume this suggestion will also be ignored as well.

On the plus side the new electronic lockers are great and there is now no need to bring a padlock down.

I visited this Lido for the first time today with my two children. We arrived around 3.20pm and queued for about an hour. I understand it was busy and they were letting people in only when someone left. When we finally got to the entrance a young girl probably in her very early 20is pushed in with her friend. When you wait for an hour you know exactly who is in front of you and who is behind you, in fact we chatted to everyone around us. When the group of girls in front of us entered and it was going to be our turn, this girl pushed in front of me and stood there. I complained and said she can't go in front of us, and then, well, the whole sky broke loose. She started swearing and screaming at me in front of everyone how she has queuing for an hour and a half and was there all the time! She was loud, intimidating, rude and violent. I warned her that the children are here, and she then started screaming even louder. My two girls covered their ears and sat on the bench. I am sure there will be video footage of that. I looked for help with the member of the staff at the entrance who was in charge of letting people in, he just shrugged his shoulders and said he didn't know. I asked a few times not to let those two in, he completely ignored me. I raised my voice then and said I am not going to be taken for a fool, nor will all those people behind me. The staff member then said I can go in and she will go after me!? Wow what an amazing dealing with the situation. When I finally got to pay I was all shaken up and really angry, I asked for 1 adult ticket and 2 childrens and was charged £19.50! I thought it was a lot but was too upset to argue more with another unfriendly member of stuff who clearly didn't want to be selling the tickets or being there. I asked her if I could purchase 5 more tickets for myself and 5 for the girls so the next time we don't have to queue, and she said, no I must come another time, I can only pay for the Lido entrance now. I asked for the tickets and she threw 2 at me saying: You don't need them, just push the bar and go in.

I will now place an formal complaint and will ask to see first who the person that pushed in front of me was. Someone with that attitude and language surely shouldn't be allowed in! I will also see why the stuff at the entrance door aren't trained to deal with the situations like that or why didn't they call the manager. I will also go back and see why was I charged £19.50 by a very unfriendly another member of stuff. If our friends weren't there we would't have gone in. Absolutely horrible experience and I am still angry.
