What a wonderful experience from start to finish.

A particular thank you to the wonderful door man who greeted us so warmly yesterday and took such good care of my elderly mother assisting her up the steps and finding a chair for her to sit on while we waited for our table to become available .

He was so charming and as we left he enquired after our meal/ experience and linked my mother’s arm to escort her down the steps and wished us well.

It was my mother’s 75th birthday and this element of Browns was the highlight for us all.

We ate at 6pm on 23rd June 2018 I unfortunately didn’t get the doorman’s name but utmost credit where it’s due.

User

Was here yesterday morning for breakfast after getting of the overnight Inverness to London Sleeper with my friend who recommended Browns and I was very impressed, lovely, tasty and well presented breakfast, great service, friendly attentive waitress and I will recommend to others, lovely decor and quite a classy feel ... just wonderful 😀😀

User

Was here tonight, hats off to Mimi and the team who despite being very busy got pre theatre meals served bang on time: excellent service with a smile and tasty grub too!

User

Visited Browns in Covent Garden and had a great time celebrating two special birthdays in my family, they made us feel welcome and were very attentive . They sang happy birthday which was really great. We had Champagne with our lovely meal.

What a lovely evening ,great company, good food, what more can you ask for!!!!

User

Spent Sat afternoon here celebrating a 60th birthday. Can’t fault it! Service great - staff were all very friendly and efficient. Food was really good. Cocktails amazing! A great vibe. Alex in particular (our second waiter) was really good. Thank you so much. We had a fabulous day 😊 will definitely return.

User

Service was good and the food but only one thing the table we got was a high and the chairs very uncomfortable. We didn't know you had to book before hand. We had just walked in

User

My daughter and I rounded off a superb weekend at Browns having been to see Hamilton on Saturday night. We turned up, without booking, and were shown to a table immediately it was Sunday lunchtime. We were served by Egle who was very attentive and chatty. My daughter had crab and king prawn linguine and I had the lobster risotto. While waiting we had sourdough bread (delicious and just baked) and some mixed nuts. Both meals were fabulous. We enjoyed a cocktail and a glass of Chardonnay, again very good. Our only disappointment was that we had to go without tasting the profiteroles or the espresso Martini as we had to get to Euston (we were so tempted). Next time.

User

Fabulous food and wine emporium we went in Saturday around 1pm the table seating in restaurant was full and a one hour wait time we decided on the bar and were given menus we had cocktails followed by a fabulous lunch with linen napkin and same chin and cutlery that in restaurant only difference we were in the bar but evening was perfect drinks brought to table I can not fault browns for service

User

After a great day in london whent to browns for a late sunday lunch the service was very good and attentive, the food came in good time and was delicious i had the belly pork perfect, if i had one tiny niggle the grean beans could have done with a couple of minutes longer in the pan but that i guess that is personal taste, we weren't rushed and were well looked after by the waiters ,great place great food !

User

We had a table booked at 6pm via Encore as a pre-theatre set Dinner deal. We turned up over half an hour early and were accommodated. The food was lovely and good service. We will be back.

User

Very good friendly service especially considering how busy the pre-theatre slot was. The food was very tasty and good quality and extremely reasonably priced. Nice cocktails 🍸 too !!

User

Attended there for a get together for Xmas meal. The waitress who served us memorised all our pre dinner drinks, starters and main. It was also good to know that there was no scallops available ( shame ) as was looking forwards to that. Food was delicious and couldn’t fault it.

The only downside the tables were on the small side. If we ordered sides for the main there would be no room on the table with wine bottles, glasses and water.

User

This was our first visit. We liked that it had a bar we could have a drink at before sitting at our table and the choice of drinks was good. We thought for the price the food was average. Not sure if we will return as there are other restaurants in the vicinity that we prefer.

User

There were four of us at Browns for dinner. We all had a three course meal which was lovely no complaint

. The staff were very helpful. Only one criticism, the tables were too small and too close together not much space between tables which was a real shame

User

Very average food. Never once asked if we’d like another drink. Steak was thin and disappointing. Prawn and crab linguini had 5 prawns and needed some flavour. Won’t be returning. We left and went elsewhere for dessert.

User

Had egg benedict & earl grey for breakfast. Very so so. The vinegar from the eggs made the ham sour...

User

Second visit tonight. First time was pleasant, but tonight the post theatre staff was non existent, couldn’t even get seated in a largely empty restaurant, walked out in disgust. Now eating in Eat Tokyo, much better, this place has waiters!

User

Not a good experience. Kept waiting in the cold foyer for 15 minutes. After getting seated it took 30 mins for our tea to be brought out!! The afternoon tea when it eventually arrived was ok but the scones were rock hard. Couldn’t cut them with a knife never mind eat them. Not once were we asked if we were ok or if we needed anything. When we managed to stop a waiter to ask for more tea he brought back a pot half full of tea leaves which was so stewed it was undrinkable. I swear it was a pot of left over leaves because they couldn’t be arsed to make a fresh pot!! In fact the whole attitude was a bit can’t be arsed. This was an afternoon tea for 7, 4 of which were girls aged 15 and 16 who were very much looking forward to it. They did deduct 20% but it really wasn’t enough and the whole experience was horrible really. We won’t be going back!!

User

Ignorant staff! Out of order! Defo won’t be back! Seated us to the back and then ignored us! Defo won’t be back!
