What a find! We ate from the 3 course evening set menu and it was top notch stuff. Wonderful flavours and dishes from the finest ingredients. Excellent service from very friendly and professional staff, quick to notice and attend to your needs with pleasure. Warm and inviting atmosphere with rich colours and furnishings. Desserts were decadent and indulgent. The best way to end a meal! Would highly recommend.
We had breakfast and dinner at Brumus during our February stay at the Haymarket. Brumus is beautifully decorated and service was attentive without being intrusive. Kit Kemp’s Wedgwood China was delicate and whimsical. Food was outstanding and service was well timed and cordial. This was my first visit to a Firmdale Hotel and I was beyond impressed.
We had an amazing evening in here , our waiter was amazing so attentive and made our night in the west end very special .
The food was lovely too xx
Very lovely restaurant. Lovely waiters and no rushing you about. Would eat here anytime.
Stayed at this wonderful hotel 2 nights and ate in the Brumus both nights , excellent food and very charming staff. Would love to be back. This was a perfect location , as we were going to see Phantom of the Opeara across the road .
Really lovely and friendly staff, we had a birthday was great, mixed menu and really cool themed room!!!
Recommend to go with girlfriends or loved one.
Manhattan's where Thrift shop awesome ! The service was was fabulous top notch as one would expect from such an establiment.
It’s the second time I’ve eaten here and it has developed into one of the friendliest and efficient restaurants in Central London. We were there for the theatre immediately next door and the charming table staff made sure we were were served without feeling rushed and still with plenty of time to have a pre theatre drink in the bar! The set menu at £19.95 was fabulous value with some delicious dishes on it. I had the smoked salmon starter and lamb main and it was exceptional. The cake/sweet trolley was also superb! I can recommend this restaurant highly enough! You won’t be disappointed.
I just wanted a quick one course lunch before a theatre matinee and they delivered! I had a most delicious chicken schnitzel with some creamed potatoes and a latte. It was top notch and the staff were excellent too.
It helped that this restaurant is right next door to the Theatre Royal Haymarket. I shall definitely come back.
Great lunch. Very helpful, attentive staff.
Great early dinner, we opted for the set 3 course menu which is great value and was very tasty. Lovely ambience and delicious cocktails as well! Love the quirky decor as well 😊
Fantastic location for Haymarket theatres. Great atmosphere, luxurious bar area with comprehensive cocktail menu. Restaurant ambient, good service and very well priced for pre theatre meal.
Fabulous restaurant, excellent service, friendly staff
Fabulous afternoon tea. The service was excellent and the waiter couldn't do enough for us. Didn't get his name but he was lovely and originally from Goa Will definitely visit again
Cocktails are fabulous-tried quite a few. Can recommend the Mediterranean G&T and the St Lucien Mojito to name two and all at reasonable prices. Was very busy on the Saturday but much more relaxed on the Sunday.
An amazing restaurant that must not be missed should you visit London. Truly a 5 star experience. They started us with an amouse bouche of tuna and potato, followed by a scrumptious crab/shrimp salad. My husband had braised pork cheeks, I had the duck. When they brought out the complimentary mango mini-cone, and he declined (doesn't like mango), the waiter ran back to get him a different flavor. And here's the kicker, the restaurant is named after the owners dog who passed, hence the dog motif everywhere. Such a lovely dining experience. We will return.
A huge thank you to the bar staff who took care of us with our pre show aperitif and it was just as good when we returned post theatre for a superb evening. Food, ambience and staff.
Visited for a festive Christmas afternoon tea with my daughter. The food was nice, staff very friendly and helpful and the ambience a chilled and welcomed break from the busy rush from Christmas shoppers outside. My only criticism is that the festive afternoon tea wasn’t as festive as we had originally thought it would be which was a little disappointing.
If you are gluten free then don’t go here. When I booked the table for my birthday I specifically asked if they either had a gluten free menu or could adapt dishes. I was told that most of their menu was either gluten free or could be adapted. Great! The reality was quite different. Not only was the choice extremely limited but each waiter, of which we seemed to have 3 different ones, was completely uneducated about the menu or what the kitchen was doing re gluten free. This is London for goodness sake! Pull your socks up Brumus....
