Perfect experience from start to finish - the staff were attentive as soon as we went in, they showed us to the lift and took us upstairs to our table. We were served super-quick, with friendly waiters, the food was delicious and the portions were substantial. All in all, we were extremely impressed and will definitely be going back soon - top marks chaps �

Why are people complaining about the price? Its exactly whats expected of that area in London and yes the food matches the price. I loved it and its wat I expected. And they really made an effort with the theme. Yes Ill be going back. The portions are great and the smoothies are �. Only thing is the staff might be abit over run so had to keep trying to get their attention. But when they came they were great. Thats the only complaint tbh get more staff. And id like to know is the service charge going to the staff directly?

We have been as a family to bubba gump in New Orleans and Miami and LA and few other places and we always loved it , this was our first time in London and we loved it . It was my sons birthday and all staff were nice and friendly and food was good , only wished there was more vegetarian options .....overall thank u

The food was lovely I really like my stuffed crab shrimp! Service was good up until we got the food then the staff seemed to have disappeared and were more interested in the World Cup! The prices are a little high but as the food was delicious I didn’t mind, I would go back I liked the atmosphere and the whole decor of the restaurant

It was nice. No waiting time which is a first for me and Bubba. It was less in your face than the American franchises but our waitress was very nice and had great knowledge of the film and was as enthusiastic as we wanted her to be. The food was nice and overall we had a great meal.

This was my first time at Bubba Gumps, but my son had eaten at one in America, and said he’d really enjoyed it, so I said I’d give it a try.

The food was good, the red/ blue sign thing is a little confusing, but it seemed to work most of the time, once we got the hang of it, although the service was a little haphazard, and we had to call staff over twice, even though our sign was on red. The biggest shock was the bill, it cost over £90 for two of use to eat, and then they had the cheek to add 12.5% to the bill as a service charge, surely it should be up to the customer to add a tip if they feel they’ve had great service. Although We enjoyed our food, I don’t think we’ll be going back any time soon.

The food is delicious but hugely overpriced. The staff had a bit of attitude and i have a huge objection to a 12.5 % service charge added to my bill and the attitude of the staff when i asked him to remove it. The tip amount is my decision. Not likely to go again.

The Cajun chicken and the spinach and artichoke dip was really nice and the fries were really well fried, not at all greasy. We went in the week when it was quiet so who knows if the food would be cooked as well if it was busy.



A bit overpriced but then you are paying for the location. When they say garlic butter on the menu they mean garlic butter and lots of it which can be a bit too much for some people.



I'd probably go back again to give it one more try but there are lots of other options in the area so it could be a while.

Me and my husband always come to Bubba Gump shrimp co for our anniversary, and this year it was really disappointing � first of all the menu has changed and the prices have sky rocketed, second the soft drinks are no longer refillable and are charging more for them and seem to be in a smaller plastic cup, my burger said it had fizzled onions and I had two large onion rings not the usual amazing onions, the fries where luke warm and I waited 30 minutes for this even though the restaurant seemed to be quiet, but what was brilliant was our waiter and his amazing service.



It’s just a shame because me and my husband visit Bubba Gump not only in London but at universal in Florida and the one in California by Disney and they haven’t changed and are brilliant so if the food doesn’t improve we would literally only visit the USA ones on holiday



Also would like to point out the server said they are under new management..... maybe they need to rethink there changes, as they will more than likely lose customers

Great food, shame about the service.

First had my Bubba Gump experience in New York and loved it, food was amazing and such good service, it’s just a shame the London Bubbas haven’t quite grasped the concept of good customer service.

12.5% gratitude is automatically added to your bill which we did not pay.

I would suggest retraining your staff as this is the only thing that we were disappointed in

My husband and daughter had visited the franchise in time square and thought the food was good for a fast food outlet.

So after the show I said to my husband shall we try Bubba Gump ......here are my thoughts.

Scampi was big in the 70 s usualy in a basket with some chips ,this is exactly the same dressed up prawns in thick variations of batter on a pile of chips/ rice .

So far so good if that’s your thing ,but the ratio of chips to shrimp is 80/20 ,if like me you try their salads you will be very disappointed ,my ceaser was a group of leaves with dressing thrown over it .( very British 1970s ).

This restaurant is huge and must cost an unholy amount to rent ,therefore the prices are huge ,you are going to pay a lot of money for food that frankly isn’t up to it.

If you have children this is going to make a large hole in your holiday wallet ( and do they care who Tom Hanks is ?) ,if your older then you should know better .

How I wish I listened to my own advice

I’ve been generous giving Bubba Gumps a 2 as the food wasn’t too bad but the cleanliness was appalling, the service was non existent and there was no atmosphere whatsoever except for the atmosphere of disappointment of myself and the 9 others in my party that were expecting a fun birthday dinner!

Would I recommend it to anyone? Umm no! Avoid avoid or be prepared for disappointment.

I had high expectations after visiting the one in Anaheim and was so disappointed with this one. Don’t get me wrong the food was nice and well cooked and the theming was like the others. But the service was very lacking and it just wasn’t fun! The “run Forrest run, stop Forrest stop” signs weren’t on a proper stand just slotted behind the salt and pepper. There was no atmosphere there, no fun Forrest Gump trivia and stuff from the staff like in Anaheim, the music was also out of place was RnB music obviously more what the staff preferred to listen to rather than what was right for the setting. Just really lets the brand down and I wouldn’t go back. I will stick to the American restaurants when I visit there.

Food was ok, it was cooked well but massively overpriced for what it is, 1 starter 2 mains and 2 drinks = £80 no atmosphere either and the manager was obviously bollocking the staff as several waitresses were in tears as they were serving people, seems the place is just taking people's money off the back of the company's American reputation, I will not return to bubba gumps, back to tgi's for me! Way better and unbelievably its actually cheaper

Was so excited to try the Bubba Gump in London with my girlfriend, couldint have been more dissapointed with the shocking dinner service. There was a massive language barrier with our waiter (the one with the dreadlocks) my girlfriend ordered a frozen lemonade drink and then he came back with another drink for him to then tell us the frozen one wasint available! Then ordered a mac and cheese and specifically asked for no breadcrumbs, then it came with breadcrumbs and he tried to tell us that you can’t get it without but that’s just ridiculous. Then to top it off he never noticed that I had my red sign up for a good while which he chose not too notice, so I asled another waiter for a drink. Then ‘our’ waiter decided to come over to basically give us a telling off and was extremely rude about how we shouldint bother other waiters because where we were sitting was his ‘area’. Massive let down for a place that could be so nice! We also found it rather cheeky of your restaurant putting the 12.5% service charge onto the bill at the end as the service didn’t deserve that tip. Not coming back anytime that’s for sure.

The place it's self seems nice, we had booked through a voucher with next for a birthday present. They voucher said any two courses and soft drinks on Moma Gumps menu. We searched beforehand for this menu and couldn't find it anywhere so we presumed it was the same menu. We arrived all seemed fine and nice, we handed our voucher and was seated with the main menu. I double checked with the waiter if it was starter and main or main and pudding. They then gave us another menu as they realised we had a voucher. Well, the menu choice was shocking... For starter you had a choice of soup or frazzled onions and for main you had a choice of burger, fish & chips or veggie burger. Not even any choice of a shrimp dish???? We ended up paying for a starter so we could at least try shrimp, it was ok but nothing amazing and then we had a burger which was dry and burnt and tasteless. Very, very disappointed the fact they don't advertise the menu which we were going to have, if they did we definitely wouldn't have booked with the voucher. (I must insist this isn't a discount voucher either)

Over priced. Got orders wrong. Asked to split the bill between 2 couples but it was split incorrectly. Also when we asked for the bill they only brought 1 out like the other couple was just gonna sit there after 2 of the group had left. Zero atmosphere. Poor waiting staff who were inattentive yet the restaurant was empty and at peak hours. Only staff member who showed any interest was the one trying to sell merchandise even though we had nothing left to spend as the food is so so expensive!

Most boring and dry burger ever. Overcooked beyond any reasonable standards. Might be pre-fried!? I ate most of my burger due to severe hunger, but I might need a couple of glasses of water to get hydrated now.

The mayo for the fries almost had a crust on it.

Good things was the glass of Sprite and the spicy mayo!



Word of advice: There's a TGIF just across the street! Go go go..

I would have given no stars if it would let me. VERY overpriced for bland food. 5 adults all given scratched up plastic beakers (what’s that about?). We all had different meals and all were crap. Served in greasy paper on battered up old trays. £4 for a glass (sorry , beaker) of coke. An experience never to be repeated. We all left hungry and disappointed. Wasn’t all bad though. We went to Jamie Oliver’s after and it was wonderful. �
