It’s nutrition and hydration awareness week - let’s talk about drinking enough water. 💧 💧 💧
💦 Sufficient hydration keeps us feeling energised, is needed for healing connective tissues in the postnatal period and just keeps us feeling better. When you’re dehydrated things start to go south - energy levels, concentration and performance levels in general.
💦 As a rule of thumb aim to drink 2L of water a day and more if exercising and / or breastfeeding. A good indicator is chec...king the colour of your pee. It should be very pale yellow if well hydrated, if not you need to drink more water!
💦 I tend to have a water bottle with me wherever I go - home, classes I teach, in the car, in the buggy.

This class is amazing! It was lovely getting outside and finally giving myself time to exercise!



Amanda was great at talking through each step and making sure I was doing it correctly. She also talked about doing the exercise routines safely for my postnatal body.



It was great to make new friends too. There was always someone on hand to help with a baby when needed. But mostly I think the babies enjoyed it more than we did!
