Building Blocks Wimbledon

Our provision is specifically customised across age appropriate, perfectly designed independent buildings. Each area has been carefully developed for the purpose of maximum quality care and education, as well as an ease of flow for both children and parents. Our youngest children begin their journey at Building Blocks, Dundonald Road. For them, our proximity to Dundonald Park allows for regular sessions of rolling in the grass, teddy bear picnics, after-school sports sessions and treasure hunts! Once they reach the developmental age for school readiness, children are guided into our Nursery School programme located within easy walking distance on Kingston Road. For the children, here, our proximity to John Innes and Merton Park allows for local outings and activities that are enjoyed in big open spaces. Before and After School children return to where they began, in Dundonald Congregational Church, located adjacent to Building Blocks, Dundonald Road. Here they have a dedicated programme to meet their changing needs as they grow and progress in their school careers. For the sake of convenience and ease, Building Blocks will provide a number of morning and evening bus runs for parents with siblings at each site.
Commuting parents will find all programmes within easy walking distance of Wimbledon Main Line Station, South Wimbledon Tube as well as both Dundonald and Merton Road Tram Links For your convenience, our opening hours are: 7: 30am – 6: 30pm Mon-Fri. Drop off and pick up times are flexible, being mindful of our timetable to minimise disruption for your child. Our Before /After-School and Holiday Club programme is organised around the Merton school terms.
