We shopped in the Regent st flagship store yesterday.

The staff there were very attentive. An assistant named Kornela advised me on ways to wear my new purchase a gift off my partner she offered us a seat and coffee and later invited us to the launch of their new collection. We had copious amounts of champagne and then left for the theatre.

Will definatly be back because I love the Brand and the polite happy customer service.

---Take care customers, be careful.---

I bought 2 years ago a Trench coat in a shop in Paris. The colour of the Trench is now fading and from blue starts to turn a bit yellowish...

The after sale service of the shop in Paris didn't do nothing about it. So, I tried to contact the customer service of UK to have more help, the guy I had on the line was no help at all, trying to send me back to the shop or making me dye it.

Today, I still cannot put this Trench on as the color changed for an ugly yellowish color in some part of it. I'm really DISAPPOINTED as the well known brand doesn't want to help solve my issue.

User

i admit to being part of an animal rights activists group that aims to educate the public about the use, exploitation, torture and eventual murder of nonhuman animals for the vile and ugly business known as the fashion trade.

Where vacuous, shallow, and vain people can have their selfish addiction served by staff who show themselves to be of the same ilk get upset that those who actually care about others, who have no voice and no choice, highlight the brutality to which staff and customers are complicit.

Hopefully the demonstration we staged at the store of this nasty organisation might just have planted some seeds in those who witnessed it.

There are few words i can use to describe the willful ignorance of those who by their actions perpetrate disgusting violence towards innocent beings who feel pain, want to live and be free just as much as humans.

User

They are SO high class!!! I have never seen a single chav wearing Burberry, ever, that has never once happened. Burberry is for rich people, only. People who buy Burberry are classy. **Googles "Burberry chavs” and pisses ones self**

User

That was my first and last visit to Burberry. It's a soulless temple of vanity profiting from extreme animal cruelty. I think that at a time when so many people are struggling to make ends meet or even starving, selling snakeskin belts for over £500 is obscene to say the least. Even more disturbing is the fact that those poor animals lost their lives in the worst possible way, i.e by being skinned ALIVE to become gadgets that nobody really needs. SICK. DISGUSTING. VILE.

User

Pretty disgusted that you are selling fur on such a large scale

Im done with you

User

Pathetic customer service! Was told to take a coat that they had damaged (said it would fade) and all I had done was shorten the sleeve. Then when they finally agreed to give me a new one and shorten the sleeve when I came to pick it up the buttons were too loose and they did not want to tighten them when asked.

To top it off my coat was just dumped in a bag and not wrapped as per normal and tied with a ribbon.

Not only do you have to wait ages to get any service in the store but when you do you get rude staff talking back to the customer.

Used to be a loyal Burberry customer but no more. There are far more brands out there that treat their customers with more dignity!

User

Dear Burberry!

I am writing to you to share a rather unpleasant experience that my husband and I had at your flagship store on Regent Street on the Sunday 10th of December at around 1.45 pm.

Having been your customers for several years we were looking forward to visiting the store. As you probably recall, the weather on that day wasn’t particularly dry, it was raining and snowing all day.

At the door we’ve been welcomed by what appeared to be a promisingly well attired member of your staff with the request to put our umbrella in one of the plastic bags which have been provided by the door. However, you had just short bags for small umbrellas, and we couldn’t use it as we had a large one.

Then we discovered that there were no holders to leave our umbrella there. Having watched us straggling in with the dripping umbrella and lots of bags from previous Christmas shopping, the smily guy in his dry warm jacket, signature Burberry pattern scarf and an iPad in his hands didn’t make a single move to help us.

We then suggested that going into the store with a dripping wet umbrella wasn't a good idea and the ‘gentleman’ confirmed for us that we couldn’t do it.

So then we suggested to leave the umbrella in the corner by the door, but apparently we were told that we couldn’t do that either.

Unfortunately, my husband is highly allergic to smarmy, smily, prize idiots and as he has gotten older it has become worse, so he just left the store and I didn’t have time and opportunity to call for the manager or to ask the name of the very bright and helpful person at the door (but I am sure you can find out it with the information given above).

So, few words of advice as I am sure this scenario will re-present itself given the British climate:

1. Firstly, Dear luxury brand Burberry, I would highly recommend you to go to the Zara store on the other side of the street and have a glimpse at a very helpful member of their stuff holding two sizes of plastic bags for umbrellas and actually HELPING the customers to put them in. Or, if it is too much of a leg work for you, to pop into next door Timberland and to have a look at their simple, rather stylish perspex holders for umbrellas at their entrance.

2. Secondly, could you teach your in-store staff that it is pointless to talk to the customers with a sweet, buttery and hypocritical smiles if they can’t think outside their boxy heads and provide a service that anybody would expect from any retailer, especially one with your kind of price level.

Disappointedly Yours,

Alesia Tozer.

There are few words i can use to describe the willful ignorance of those who by their actions perpetrate disgusting violence towards innocent beings who feel pain, want to live and be free just as much as humans.

I'm really DISAPPOINTED as the well known brand doesn't want to help solve my issue.

i admit to being part of an animal rights activists group that aims to educate the public about the use, exploitation, torture and eventual murder of nonhuman animals for the vile and ugly business known as the fashion trade.
