Sunday afternoon...super busy!!!! But the stuff and food and the entire service - amazing!!! People who complain might not understand the idea of busaba which is a busy, street food...mixing flavours :) 100% recommending to all actual food lovers!

Omg the food was sooooo tasty we didn’t speak! My friend is vegan so it was fab that we could both eat and enjoy a tasty meal. Service was great, definitely coming back. 5*

I always enjoy coming back to Busaba when I am in Soho. I visited again last night with three friends around 6:30pm. Although it was a busy time, your friendly staff found us a table in a private booth at the side of the restaurant which was perfect. The food as always was excellent (on this occasion I had calamari with peppercorns and green chicken curry with sticky rice). Due to a promotion for a Thai festival, our granddad at the table was awarded a free meal from a special set menu. Throughout our meal we were served at the table by your colleague ‘Chris’ who was so friendly, helpful and knowledgable of your menu and services. We look forward to returning again soon!

Good food, attentive staff, convenient location.

From the moment we stepped inside we were greeted cheerfully by our waiter Francesco.

We spent a little while looking through the menu as I've been before but this time was bringing my partner along to try the amazing Calamari and do the £19.95 pp meal deal. (Which is VERY cheap considering the amount and quality of the food. As far as chain Thai restaurants are concerned, you can't go wrong with Busaba)

But the menu had changed and the calamari was no longer on the menu!!!



I asked Francesco if he would be so kind as to swap out the prawns dish for the calamari. (He brought us prawns also anyway!) He quickly checked with his manager and agreed to it, which made the meal extra special as I'd been raving about it for months to my partner!



We had Red Mullet curry, squid, prawns, the avocado salad and the beef rib (which was DIVINE!).

He also even brought us some mini vegetable spring rolls on the house which was super kind.



Our drinks were kept full, the food was amazing, the service was great in a really busy time if the evening, and we enjoyed every bit of it! Top notch.



I would also massively recommend the Guava Collins! Gorgeous and so addictive!



My partner and I both eat out a lot, eat a wide range of food, and can be very picky with service and food offered and keep to very high standards, and we have been very pleasantly surprised this evening!



Thank you to Francesco and the other waiters/waitresses and kitchen staff for making our two day London trip and meal out one to remember �

We were greeted with smiles and were seated quickly

The waiters were very attentive and we felt comfortable right away

We ordered some starters which were lovely

And ordered our mains

We were very happy with the food which was excellent

We asked for the house white but they didn’t have that so we ordered the more expensive wine

Ordered another dish which took a little longer than I had hoped but I had ordered after

We got the bill which was fine only they had added the 10% tip

To it which I am not happy with

Not so bad with more than 4 but for 2 should be to your discretion

Great food n very busy (literally) place, pick your food and order in one go. Service is quick but guys very busy so if you miss second chance might not come

We went to busaba last night and had pre booked a table for my mum's 50th birthday. We were seated quickly and gave our drinks order. We ordered our food, snacks, starters and mains and waited. The snacks came quickly and then all the food came together, cold. Myself and my mum had ordered massaman lamb shank and chicken satay which both arrived stone cold, my fiances chicken satay was also cold so we sent it back. There was then a 25 min wait for the fresh food to come and first of all we were given someone else's order, it was another 20 min wait for the drinks we had ordered and everyone around us were also having issues with their orders. One pair had complained their food was cold to which the waiter replied 'it's not warm but it's not stone cold' whilst holding his hand over the dish. The group opposite had some of their order not turn up. I appreciate it was a Saturday night but a busy restaurant like this should be used to the demand and be able to handle it. The food was nice when we eventually got it all and we were given discount but I won't be coming back. Your saving grace was George the waiter who was very apologetic and friendly. He was rushed off his feet but kept chasing our food and you could see the horror on his face. He deserves a medal!

The service was poor ,the starter was cold and the fish tasted off the main was flavourless and the bill wasn’t correct at the end even after discussing it

Really ruined a birthday meal

The food is good. The staff, however, could really do with some lessons in courtesy, customer service skills, and generally how to interact with fellow human beings. Whilst it might well be standard practice in many places in central London, if you have the audacity to add service charge automatically, it would be great if some level of service was actually received. Third visit here; same each time. Won't hurry back.

Sorry very disappointed with the portions food is good but I really don't know who is managing the kitchen but let me tell those portion are for kids, service ok, environment good, food taste amazing, portion a disaster, price not bad. Guys you will lose customers with those portions for sure. Good Luck!!!

I was having a nice lunch at Busaba with my wife when the staff sat a group of 8 men at our table (despite the fact there were at least 2 empty tables they could have used) who were having a loud business meeting.

Must admit I'm not a fan of paying to eat whilst sat with a bunch of strangers...

We ordered the seaweed, which never arrived. We reminded the staff and were informed they'd check and then asked a 3rd time, but it never came.

When we asked for our bill the seaweed was charged and upon querying the missing item the waiter said "I'll check if she didn't bring it already" - 'cos I'm in the habit of lying about £3:50 dish!

Of course we asked for the automatically added service charge to be removed.

Food was good, but we won't be rushing back.

Unless my seaweed is waiting...

Food served cold after waiting more than an hour for it to be served. Very disappointing. However the staff were really nice, but that doesn't make up for slow service and poor food quality. Not recommended.

not a good experience which was unusual. had to ask for our small plate (not starter apparently!) and it came after we finished everything and not very polite/friendly staff. unlucky day perhaps but it was a bad night as I had guest who wanted to try busaba..

Unlucky enough to have visited, we arrived at 18.50 on Friday evening, waited an hour for food then we were a meal short..

Had to be at IMAX for 9pm so at 8:30 we left with one of our party having not eaten and one not having received their drink until we were walking out the door.. usually love Busaba, will think twice before going again..

Shocking!

I have come here for 6 years as a ‘safe place’ for incredible food. Insincere. Amazing service.

Every dish was poor. Calamari-used to be crispy and with a delicious dip.

Crackers, not from a broken biscuit bag.

Duck massaman.. was soo good with sliced breast and so many potatoes that rice was a waste.

I’m shocked, my go to place in my avoid, like the plague place.

Awful.
