With happy hearts we are getting ready to look after you all for Valentine's day next week - we melt when we see the romantic couples dining together holding hands under tables, but equally rejoice in hosting big groups of friends, singles and those of you who need a little break from the cheesyness surrounding this day every year.

Kids love Busaba, and we love introducing the little ones to the tastes and textures of asian cooking and also watching them trying to use chopsticks! Half Term is just around the corner, so why not treat the family to a Thai feast and share food with the ones you love.

Meet Debora, Debora is our General manager at the original Busaba restaurant in Wardour Street (Soho) she reveals some secrets about her life and her time at Busaba… #MeetTheBusabaFamily
Q1: How long have you been with Busaba? A: I have spent the last 5 awesome years working for Busaba.
... Q2: What’s the thing you like most about working for Busaba A: For me Busaba does not just develops people but also “create believers”… Working in Busaba gives me the feeling of being “part of a whole”..part of a family….thats what makes home feel a little closer even when you are millions of miles away from home 😊
In our Busaba’s family “People work for people, they do not work for “businesses” This has been my mantra for as long as I can remember and this is the value and belief I try you transmit every day to my team.
Q3: What’s your favourite Busaba Dish? A: Definitely Thai calamari and Ginger beef �Q4: What’s an interesting fact about yourself? A: I am a very ambitious and driven person, I always motivate myself even during the difficult moments, because I do have a clear passion for my job and for what I do.
Q5: What’s your favourite thing to do when you are not at work? A: I like going to museums as I am really passionate about arts. Also, I love going to the cinema and theatre. I currently speak 5 languages and I am planning to studying another two very soon. My dream when a I was a child was to speak all the languages existing in the world 😊 �Q6: What is your best Busaba Memory? �A: My best Busaba memory is when two years ago - I was still acting General Manager at the time in Covent Garden we had been awarded “the best restaurant of the year”. Covent Garden branch is the place where I started 5 years ago as foh team member and where I developed my Busaba’s career, therefore will always have a special place into my heart.

Did you know that chopsticks are not typically used in Thailand? They were actually invented in China around 5000 years ago! We had so many requests from our guests for them, so who were we to argue! Our chefs flash fry our freshly prepared seabass to achieve the golden crispy skin on this dish which then balances well with its tamarind, soy and lemongrass sauce.
The Golden Seabass Thod (Thod meaning fried in Thai) is one of our limited time only dishes and it could be gone before you know it, as we change and introduce new dishes regularly thought the year. 🐟

🇬🇧London. About the other night: dinner at Busaba. Now one has not been to this staple london Thai chain for quite some time (we are talking 8 odd years) but was pleasantly surprised. Hearty portions and super quick service made for a delightful easy casual and affordable dinner. Marinated chicken satay skewers, light green papaya salad and green curry chicken were all lovely. But special praise must be given to the char-grilled oh so tender chilli, coriander, ginger and jasmine tea glazed beef short rib!

The place is amazing!!! It has a very family like vibe and the staff is great. Had beef ribs and, honestly, never had better cooked beef in my life!! It was soft and was literally melting! If you are looking for quality food to come out quickly, or you are on a rush, this is a place for you! Definite must to go place! Smiley faces!

The food was absolutely amazing... The staff were great, friendly and professional... A very good balance. Lovely venue with great music created a relaxing atmosphere.

Our favourite local restaurant! Always great food, very friendly staff (we know many of them by now and it's nice they know us too) and it's really interesting how they keep innovating their brand by regularly making changes to the looks of the restaurant as well as to the menu. Staff are attentive and service at this Busaba is very consistent.

One of the best Thai restaurants located in shoreditch, very friendly employees and the food is really amazing. the price quality ratio is perfect. I would really recommend this place if you are in the city centre

Very cheerful bunch of people creating very buzzy and friendly atmosphere. Always go there with a group of friends as this place is simply to enjoy in a larger group.

I went to Busaba for the first time ago and Augustina was my waitress and she was wonderful. Very polite, helpful, and made sure we had a good time. Will be back!

I had an amazing meal here, I live local so eaten there before, but LOVING the new menu additions. And service was spot on, as always 👍

Busaba was great as always, food was fantastic, and the service by Augustina was nothing but brilliantly fantastic. Bubbly, friendly and great recommendation for food and drink.

don't remember last time I was blown away by a noodle dish. your black pepper beef... one word - glorious.

this is sooo tasty, well done guys. I love food, no question about it, but some dishes are class above others and this is the case with your beef.

would have been 5 stars if it wasn't for the service, it is disappointing when part of your group is still waiting for food when you've already finished yours and despite talking to a number of waiters and waitresses, nothing is being done about it. you need to listen more and some of your staff could do with shaking that chip off their shoulder.

finally and to end on a positive note - the tunes you're playing in the restaurant, what is this music? coz I want it! what a sound!!!

We went with a Group of friends for dinner. It was late around 9.15pm when we first placed our order for drinks. They take last order till 10.00p.m. we ordered quite a few stuff.... don't remember all names... Not all the food was great, the quantity was little less. Yes, the restaurant is little expensive but we had good time as the food served to us was of our taste....I would highly recommend it.

Lunchtime meal menu includes Jasmine Tea and is well priced. All of our three meals great value, generous amount of ingredients and delicious. Swift and courteous service is great if you're pushed for time. In, served and out within 50 minutes is doable. Clean Bogs are a bonus!

Slow service, they take your order then seem to forget about you. The food was ok, nothing out of this world and the duck was just over cocked (which they had forgot and we had to wait half an hour until someone came to ask us if everything was alright). Disappointing experience overall.

Pad Thai was bland as hell. I had to douse it in sauces from the table to give it more flavour, otherwise I would have been eating pretty plain chicken and noodles. At £9.50 for a really basic dish you’d expect a little more! Spring rolls were dope tho.

Food was good as always but after 3 different staff asking if we'd been served or ordered, when our food did come out it was missing rice.

At the end of the meal we were deserted, no one asked if we wanted more drinks, cleared our plates or asked if we wanted the bill. I had to shout over to a waitress who asked her college to bring us the bill. 3 waitresses came over to seat other people but didn't look around once to see if anyone else was attempting to make eye contact. Absolutely zero RADAR skills.

Then again no staff came to take payment, had to shout again for the card machine. Staff not covering set area's means no consistency and is pretty annoying. The manager needs to have a better system in place.

Well not sure about this restaurant after our poor experienced ,food not that great and the service is not very good,some of our friends are left the place without any meal and choose to cancel thier ordered,definately not to go back this place again sorry to say
