With happy hearts we are getting ready to look after you all for Valentine's day next week - we melt when we see the romantic couples dining together holding hands under tables, but equally rejoice in hosting big groups of friends, singles and those of you who need a little break from the cheesyness surrounding this day every year.

Kids love Busaba, and we love introducing the little ones to the tastes and textures of asian cooking and also watching them trying to use chopsticks! Half Term is just around the corner, so why not treat the family to a Thai feast and share food with the ones you love.

Happy New Year to all our Chinese friends! šŸ‡ØšŸ‡³ #YearOfThePig
Did you know that chopsticks are not typically used in Thailand? They were actually invented in China around 5000 years ago! We had so many requests from our guests for them, so who were we to argue! Hands up if you struggle using them... but if you do love eating our food with chopsticks we'll always have them for you - just ask for a pair. šŸ„¢

šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§London. About the other night: dinner at Busaba. Now one has not been to this staple london Thai chain for quite some time (we are talking 8 odd years) but was pleasantly surprised. Hearty portions and super quick service made for a delightful easy casual and affordable dinner. Marinated chicken satay skewers, light green papaya salad and green curry chicken were all lovely. But special praise must be given to the char-grilled oh so tender chilli, coriander, ginger and jasmine tea glazed beef short rib!

Visited this busy restaurant on Thursday evening and are very glad we did. It's mainly large tables seating 10 people, couples placed on corners and it works really well. The menu has plenty of variety all sounding equally delicious. I chose chicken with butternut squash and my husband had the tamarind duck both with jasmine rice. We have eaten in Thailand a lot over the years and found both dishes to be extremely authentic and tasty. Good wine and beer, water given without having to ask and great service too. We had to wait a while for a second round of drinks but the place was heaving so we didn't mind.

The only thing I would say is the signage for the toilets is terrible! I stood outside and genuinely couldn't tell which was which. Once I knew you could work it out but I wasn't the only one, every single person I saw up there had the same problem, when I went up again I saw a man coming out of the ladies. Use the trendy symbols but maybe add ladies and gents as well so as not to confuse people.

To sum up, I would love to eat at this restaurant again and have been telling anybody who'll listen how great it is.

Our ā€˜Go Toā€™ place for pre-show eats. Served by Rodney last night. Friendly, polite, professional and, as always, delicious food served promptly

User

We ate here before the Pete Tong Ibiza Classics gig. We had to queue but not for long as only two of us. Quick service with our order although they told the waitress the wrong table and the poor girl was wandering around not knowing where to leave the drinks!!! We both ordered the Phad Thai and having just returned from Bangkok the day before, it was OK.

We wanted something quick with no fuss and that's what we got and the staff were very friendly and helpful. My first visit to this restaurant chain and would definitely try again.

My only complaint was that there was no toilet paper in any of the ladies loos, no paper towels to use after washing your hands and not even a hand dryer!! For such a busy restaurant, not very impressed.

User

We went here before the Ed Sheeran gig on a Bank holiday Monday

It was one of the only restaurants where we didn't have to queue.

Our drinks were served quite quickly but the food took about 25 minutes in stages and then one person in our group finished eating before others had even got their food which came about 15 mins later. It was anything special but not a bad atmosphere. I'd go there again only if I couldn't get into Wagamama quickly

User

Great food as usual but (slightly tasteless pad Thai yesterday, but usually great) .. the service at this restaurant on a Sunday leaves a bit to be desired - really slow ... keeping heads down to the point you sort of have to shout across the restaurant, wave like crazy or get up and follow them to get attention. And then for service to automatically appear on your bill... seems somewhat cheeky given the lack thereof.

User

Food was delicious but the service was dreadful. We were left waiting more than 15 minutes before they came to take our order despite me chasing up about it. Food came quickly once ordered and we all thoroughly enjoyed it but again when we wanted to leave we waited ages for our bill after again chasing up. Complained and got 25% off the bill

User

As we got to the front of the queue, the party of 4 who were behind us got seated first!. Our turn next and we were sat in the same table as the party of 4 from behind us in the queue the table had 10 empty places on it!

Then they made us sit on a corner and within seconds my husband had about 10 people knock into him the place is just too crammed in. You have to pass dishes across others to get it to the person who ordered it. Itā€™s very busy, the servers are rushing around to get you in and out as quickly as possible.

Food only ok.

Beware the bill also had a 10% service charge included!

User

We normally love Busaba but today we were so disappointed. Ordered from kids menu for our son and egg noodles were instant noodles and chicken was overcooked. Our Pad Thai was ok but it used to be so much better (at least at another branch anyway). Service was slow and they got our order wrong as well. Not a great experience...

User

The venue looks good, and a nice atmosphere but the food and service was just ok. It wasn't bad it's just nothing special. I felt it was pricey for what you get. Thai food I've had previously was exciting and really tasty...it's a shame this wasn't šŸ˜„

User

Had tickets for Chaka Khan at Indigo and was looking for something quick. Got a table straight away, food was okay but service was slow as there didn't seem to be enough waiting staff! The staff who were there were very good considering they were run off their feet but had to try and catch their attention every time we wanted to order! No toilet paper in 2 of the ladies loos and nothing to dry your hands which is unpleasant! Not sure we'll be back!

User

Food was nice but the mains were not very hot. We both ordered the same dish and one was much smaller than the other? I was basically served a children's portion so he could have the larger (normal sized) one.

User

Extremely poor service and small portions. They forgot about an item from our order and it didn't arrive until everything else was cold. Nice fusion tea though!

User

Can't use your 20 percent off in conjunction with other offers. Rediculus! We were hoping this was case. The food was nice but the service was awful. Staff very disorganised. Wish I could take the inclusive tip out! The member of staff just put it in!! Very annoying! I'd like to decide if I do.

5 of us dined. Food was good. Spent a lot of money. But manager Asmita was a little rude. Used vouchers for the bill and was about to leave. Asked if I could use my birthday voucher/email to claim a free main to take away and was told I couldn't as I already used another voucher for when we were sat down eating. Explained that bill has been paid and this is a separate order for take away. Then told by Asmita that I can't use my email/voucher for take away (when it states in the t&c's valid for dine in and take away but not delivery) and she kept insisting it wasn't for take away until I showed her the email t&c's. She then again said that I couldn't use it today as I have already used a different voucher and to come back another day. I don't understand why I couldn't use it when it's a separate order for take away. Asmita looked like she had some attitude and was not apologetic in any way.

User

The service was appalling! We were told by a waitress to "follow me" which we did up the stairs, at which point she rushed over to another group of customers and chatted to them, leaving us stranded not knowing where to go.

Once we were seated and offered our menus, after ten minutes, we had to call the waitress over for us to order drinks. We ordered a bottle of Rose, after a further 5 minutes, the actress came back saying they didn't have Rose. So, we had to order something different.

It took a further 15 minutes before she came back to take our food order! We ordered 2 noodle dishes, the salmon, and a salad main courses. When the food eventually came, both noodle dishes were cold, and the salad did not arrive. By the time the guys had eaten their noodle dishes the salad still had not arrived.

We complained, but the waitresses could only apologise, this is appalling service and we will Not be coming again, and we Will be dissuading friends to come!

User

Service was good, but food was disgusting, may be chef had hangover from 31st night and forget to put any seasoning on every order we had.

I made an order from Deliveroo at 9pm

I heard nothing from the restaurant or Deliveroo with regards to the status of my order.

It then turned up and hour and a half later.

Cold & Dry. I called the 02 busaba restaurant and was told it is not there problem.

I asked to speak to the manager and the phone was hung up on me.

Is this how you treat your customers?

This is not acceptable at all.

I need a full refund for my purchase.

Horrible customer service. The building had a gas outage and Busaba blamed it for not serving us tap water - despite us waiting 30 mins after ordering. Who needs gas to cook tap water?

Understandably the gas outage was not their fault, but they didnā€™t bother to inform us that their kitchen was down and couldnā€™t prepare food - Busaba kept us (and other customers) waiting like fools for 15 mins after the outage, until we smelled something fishy and flagged down their confused staff.

Horrible communication, poor management.

My friends and I came to eat at your o2 centre branch last night prior to seeing a concert. We were a table of 6 sat in your semi outside area at the front of the restaurant.

Unfortunately we had a very bad experience at your restaurant. The service was very poor. Rude staff, very unhelpful and very slow service - so slow that my friends meal did not come out until we had all finished our food. We had to ask three separate people about his meal. This meal was offered to us for free in the end.

Last night during my sleep I had cold sweats and extreme nausea. My one friend was sick at work the next morning and another feeling extremely unwell all day.

I'm extremely disappointed with the service that we received, and subsequently how unwell 3 out of 6 of the party were soon after.

I wanted to make you aware of our experience and feedback this back to you. I'm looking forward to hearing from you with regards to our experience.
