With happy hearts we are getting ready to look after you all for Valentine's day next week - we melt when we see the romantic couples dining together holding hands under tables, but equally rejoice in hosting big groups of friends, singles and those of you who need a little break from the cheesyness surrounding this day every year.

Kids love Busaba, and we love introducing the little ones to the tastes and textures of asian cooking and also watching them trying to use chopsticks! Half Term is just around the corner, so why not treat the family to a Thai feast and share food with the ones you love.

Meet Debora, Debora is our General manager at the original Busaba restaurant in Wardour Street (Soho) she reveals some secrets about her life and her time at Busabaā€¦ #MeetTheBusabaFamily
Q1: How long have you been with Busaba? A: I have spent the last 5 awesome years working for Busaba.
... Q2: Whatā€™s the thing you like most about working for Busaba A: For me Busaba does not just develops people but also ā€œcreate believersā€ā€¦ Working in Busaba gives me the feeling of being ā€œpart of a wholeā€..part of a familyā€¦.thats what makes home feel a little closer even when you are millions of miles away from home šŸ˜Š
In our Busabaā€™s family ā€œPeople work for people, they do not work for ā€œbusinessesā€ This has been my mantra for as long as I can remember and this is the value and belief I try you transmit every day to my team.
Q3: Whatā€™s your favourite Busaba Dish? A: Definitely Thai calamari and Ginger beef ļæ½Q4: Whatā€™s an interesting fact about yourself? A: I am a very ambitious and driven person, I always motivate myself even during the difficult moments, because I do have a clear passion for my job and for what I do.
Q5: Whatā€™s your favourite thing to do when you are not at work? A: I like going to museums as I am really passionate about arts. Also, I love going to the cinema and theatre. I currently speak 5 languages and I am planning to studying another two very soon. My dream when a I was a child was to speak all the languages existing in the world šŸ˜Š ļæ½Q6: What is your best Busaba Memory? ļæ½A: My best Busaba memory is when two years ago - I was still acting General Manager at the time in Covent Garden we had been awarded ā€œthe best restaurant of the yearā€. Covent Garden branch is the place where I started 5 years ago as foh team member and where I developed my Busabaā€™s career, therefore will always have a special place into my heart.
Thank you for your time, Debora and keep up all the amazing work you are doing! #TeamBusaba

Happy New Year to all our Chinese friends! šŸ‡ØšŸ‡³ #YearOfThePig
Did you know that chopsticks are not typically used in Thailand? They were actually invented in China around 5000 years ago! We had so many requests from our guests for them, so who were we to argue! Hands up if you struggle using them... but if you do love eating our food with chopsticks we'll always have them for you - just ask for a pair. šŸ„¢

Our chefs flash fry our freshly prepared seabass to achieve the golden crispy skin on this dish which then balances well with its tamarind, soy and lemongrass sauce.
The Golden Seabass Thod (Thod meaning fried in Thai) is one of our limited time only dishes and it could be gone before you know it, as we change and introduce new dishes regularly thought the year. šŸŸ

In 2018 we teamed up with Action Against Hunger to not only raise money but help drive awareness of this incredible cause and their aims.
Every time you ordered one of our Thai Aubergine Curryā€™s or from our childrenā€™s menu we donated 50p to #ActionAgainstHunger
Last year we, with help from our guests we raised Ā£10,000 to go toward all the efforts and hard work this non profit charity is doing to eradicate child hunger in nearly 50 countries around the world.
... We aim to (with your help) make 2019 an even bigger year! Thank you and together lets end child hunger for good! ā¤ļø

šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§London. About the other night: dinner at Busaba. Now one has not been to this staple london Thai chain for quite some time (we are talking 8 odd years) but was pleasantly surprised. Hearty portions and super quick service made for a delightful easy casual and affordable dinner. Marinated chicken satay skewers, light green papaya salad and green curry chicken were all lovely. But special praise must be given to the char-grilled oh so tender chilli, coriander, ginger and jasmine tea glazed beef short rib!

The food is really good and the staff is lovely and friendly. Always enjoy my stay and canā€™t wait to go back!

User

The food is always excellent of course (it's Thai ļæ½). The team is also perfect in customer service, always smiling and helping you in choosing dishes! Love this place.

User

Nice and relaxed atmosphere, staff friendly and not too pushy. Thai fishcakes could do with less oil but green curry chicken definitely hit the spot! Overall, two course meal with a carafe of very decent Chenin Blanc and a soft drink came up to Ā£34. Would definitely recommend to everyone!

User

Love it! Been there several times, never regret it. Staff are great and food incredibly tasty. Tandrim duck and calamari are the best!

User

Itā€™s my second visit to this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, flavourful and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and seem happy to be there. Lovely relaxing and ambient environment. The only thing is the sign for the ladies toilet is quite comical šŸ˜ This is definitely one of my favourite places to eat.

I have been to busaba before and have had Thai Green curry, which was ok.

Yesterday I went to Leicester Square and decided to try the, Cod fillet. Well it is one of the most tasty meals I have had in ages. Highly recommended.

The place is a bit busy/crazy and service is a combination of rushed and slack. Everyone else liked the food including one of my friends who knows a lot about thai food.

User

Had a fabulous meal here a few weeks back. The service was really good but the food was outstanding!! We had the lunch time menu which was excellent value for money. To start we had the fish cakes, fried calamari and the spring rolls, and for mains we had chilli beef with rice and chicken vermicelli. Will definitely go back next time we are in London!!

User

Great location, delicious food and reasonable prices. My favourites are thai calamari and seafood curry. Definitely suggest this place.

User

Great food and great place, very well located and with a great range of choices on the menu. I recommend the duck and the calamari ļæ½

Every time we pop into London to go to the Theatre or something else we pop into Busaba Eathai. The food and service is very good. By saying we pop in every time we get into London must tell you everything. Full marks.

User

Didn't expect a huge amount from this chain restaurant, but went away loving it and wanting more!

Busaba is informal dining (with Wagamamas style shared tables) but was clean with great ambience.

The food was absolutely amazing - a touch over spiced but bursting with flavour. We went for the Ā£18.90 fixed price menu - the flavours were great, portions generous and the food fresh. Can't wait to visit again!

The only downside was the beer cost (Ā£7 for a 660ml beer) and the 10% service charge being automatically added to the bill.

User

Really good food, have been there several times and always fitted us in on the same table as we do not book. Would recommend it as it is just off Leicester Square.

User

My friend suggest me this restaurant!! I love it!!! Food was amazing!!! It's such a shame that they serve all togheter, i would like to give 5 star but, I wasn't happy because they dont have the dessert, but just a tastless vanilla ice- cream!!! I really enjoy the dinner; just something to improve , good luck.

User

The menu is reasonable with a fair selection of dishes from which to choose. Prices are very reasonable for central London. The food itself is passable but I've had much better Thai food in my local Thai cafe!

User

Food was great, although a bit too much on the expensive side considering that the seating is uncomfortable and the service needs improvement. Nothing dramatically bad, but there is a lot better in central London.

User

Food ok service hit and miss two of the guys were lovely but we shouldnt have to ask for plates while the food got cold on the table and had to ask twice for bottled water.

User

Been tonight, food was "ok" in my opinion, but nothing to shout home about, although my wifes main, she said, was really nice.

We ordered 2 "snacks" which came with our drinks which was fine, but the 2 "starters" we ordered came at the same time as the main, therefore straight away overfacing us. There was virtually no service, our finished plates were left on our table untill we decided to stand up and fetch the bill as nobody seemed interested in coming over to us. During the meal, nobody asked if 'everything was ok" which i believe is a very important thing to do as it is the only chance you get to say yes or no.

Just to summerise, food ok/good

Service/ very poor.

User

Not the best meal I have had recently and I have had a few in Reading and Manchester, I had curry Massiman, which should have potato not chips

User

I normally LOVE Busaba but despite an empty restaurant service was slow, kept having to remind the waiter for things we asked for, food was ok sort of (they've changed the menu but not for the better in my opinion it just has more expensive dishes as you work from left to right) the crispy seaweed is from a packet and not freshly made, the waiter looked a bit annoyed once he'd produced the bill we gave him a gift voucher to use....all in all a very average experience.
