Just finished this Z1B total engine rebuild. 0.50mm overbore pistons, replaced all Cam Chain tensioning parts and Cam Chain, gearbox bearings, new valve guides, guide seals and new valves, valve springs, seat recut, all original bolts and case screws polished re zinced and reused. Turned out better than new. Buzzard@thebuzzworkz

Z1000 ready to fire up, petrol on, leaking fuel everywhere!!! Tracked it down to fuel feed T pipe between carb 2 and 3. Part not obtainable any more so made a new T piece but 0.50mm large diameter pipe which made the push on rubber sleeves slightly larger. Result, no leaks. Buzzard@thebuzzworkz.

Spent the day machining the disc carriers so that the Brembo discs will bolt onto a Z1 hub, the carriers space the disc out by 25mm which allows the 4 pot Brembo calipers to clear the spokes. Next job sorting out yokes for Ohlins RWU forks. Fork centres 210mm and 40mm offset on the yokes. Buzzard@thebuzzworkz.
