We popped in after a weekend in London as a stop on our way home, service was quick, food was amazing, staff very friendly and accommodating

We go on Friday before 7pm and have the special menu 3 courses. Always good service, so worth the charge. Food is of a good quality. The cloudy lemonade is French and tastes like home made a necessity if your driving.

My regular stopping point in the UK be it for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Great menu at an amazing price. What makes the place special is the incredible team that deliver excellent service with a smile.

Lovely staff, friendly and quick service, especially as we went on mother’s day! Was very impressed by how quick everything was. We ordered the fish pie and a side dish of glazed carrots. Was absolutely delicious! For dessert we had the banana crepe, again absolutely delicious, would definitely be visiting here again!

Lovely lunch yesterday - belly pork was gorgeous with crackling just right! The crab and the mackerel starters were good too. Quick and friendly service and food piping hot!

It was my sister’s birthday & once the waitress realised she wished my sister a happy birthday & offered us a mimosa on the house. Such a lovely gesture!

We ordered the salmon with ratatouille, which was delicious. The staff were very attentive throughout our visit. I’ve been to Cotes a few times & always enjoyed the experience. It was my sister’s first visit & she said she will definitely be going back! Thank you Cotes for making her birthday a bit more special! X

I started my birthday celebrations ordering a champagne breakfast. My husband ordered a full English and I ordered smoked salmon, scrambled eggs and a glass of champagne. When the waitress brought over the glass of champagne she told me it was complimentary. It was a lovely surprise. The food, service and atmosphere was perfect. Thank you.

I had the Grilled Breton chicken with frites and it was delicious!! The food was hot, the portion was plenty and the staff were very friendly! I definitely will come back in the future!

I can't praise this restaurant enough. Every time I've been there it has never failed to deliver, good food, good service and at a reasonable price.

We had the Saturday menu. The chicken was very good and potatoes excellent. Will certainly come back again.

The food was good, but the service was over-attentive to the point of pestering at times - and not one of them could remember who'd ordered what ( only two of us!) - I find this irritating that staff are unable to make a note ( mental or otherwise) of who ordered what. Seems basic to me.

I had my birthday celebration there. Lovely friendly staff and when the meals arrived they were hot and very tasty and that was for 12 adults. However, we waited an hour for our meals from ordering and 30+ minutes for dessert. Guess Friday evening with large party not the best time. Still one of the best places to eat.

Chose Cote to celebrate our Anniversary. I always have the fillet steak and was not disappointed. It was delicious. Great food, great service.

The fish stew my partner has tasted really good. I had the duck which was ok would have been better if my food was hot. My daughter had steak and frites and they wouldn’t do a child’s portion or price. A glass of Chardonnay was priced at nearly £8 and would be nice to be asked in person if I want to pay service charge!

Food was really nice. I had the Tuna Niçoise salad and it was really tasty. The staff weren’t particularly friendly or helpful

Tried the set menu and it is a really good price. Had the Smoked Salmon for Starter and it was yummy! Venison Cottage Pie for Main and it was good, but not really much venison in it which was very disappointing.
