THREE NATIONS SWING COMMITTEE play every second wednesday of the month.
Hailing from Italy, Slovakia and the U.K., Three Nation Swing Committee bring the sounds of a 1930’s Parisian jazz joint to the 21st century.
Playing tunes by Django Reinhardt, Sidney Bechet and other gypsy jazz and swing classics, their music ranges from the infectiously danceable to haunting, soulful ballads.... £4 entry. Plus 2.4.1 on cocktails from 6pm-7pm and a pizza with a glass of wine or a beer for £10 all night. All part of the cafe cairo Wednesday sessions. Starts 8pm

WHISKEY MOON FACE ... To describe WHISKEY MOON FACE as an alternative folk group doesn’t even begin to do justice to the breadth of influence, inspiration and style in their music. Based around double bass, accordian, and clarinet, they’re led by the stunning vocals and hallucinatory lyrics of singer Louisa Jones.
Both ear-to-ear grinningly entertaining and profoundly moving, they combine elements of Eastern European traditional & old-time New Orleans jazz and the baroque folk styles of Sufjan Stevens and Beirut with their own unique take on contemporary folk to make for a superbly realized, truly beautiful, and utterly original sound- there is simply no-one in the UK making music like them. The staff are TOP and the vibes and deco will take you somewhere else... You can have organic pizza in their garden, maybe a cocktail (some of the best I've tried in London) a tasty shisha and they do FREE toast too! What??! ;)

First time visiting yesterday, very chilled, comfy seating areas, friendly staff, affordable drinks and great pizzas.

Everytime that I come here I have a fabulous time. The staff and atmosphere is super friendly, their secret garden is paradise, the cocktails are amazingly tasty,there is free cinema on Sundays!!you will always end up to leave the place knowing everyone!it'sone my favourite place in London

Cafe Cairo is a place to chill or party. Great atmosphere and is definitely the only place worth going to in Clapham. The friendly staff are always fun to chat to, there's the basement for dancing and a wonderful outside space. ☺
