Cafe Football Stratford Description

The first brand to be launched and managed by GG Hospitality in 2013, Café Football is a unique restaurant concept that feeds a passion for food, fun and football.

The menu at Cafe Football was created by award winning chef, Michael Wignall. As the centrepiece of the Cafe Football experience, Michael took inspiration from the food and fun of football, and given it the two-Michelin-star treatment. So while the Cafe style dishes reflect home cooking, they turn the everyday into something extraordinary.

Creating an exciting and memorable dining experience with fantastic food at its heart is what Cafe Football is all about. The witty menu - led day-to-day by head chef Giovann Attard - is washed down with interactive entertainment. All with a football twist which will surprise and delight.

Cafe Football’s allegiance is to everyone who loves food and football. Couples, friends and families will find a warm welcome, a fun environment and a delicious dining experience to remember.

Went there Stratford at lunch time no staff when asked for someone was racial abused by some manager from South Africa thanks cafe football only white people get served there

Oh my goodness!! By far the best onion rings I have ever had, and a pretty spectacular Hot Dog too!! The food took a while to arrive but the waiting staff were all friendly and polite. Not a football fan by any stretch of the imagination (It is Cafe Athletics for the summer due to the IPC & IAAF World Champs being held at the Olympic Stadium which is how we heard about it) but for those Onion Rings I am prepared to put up with Football

Nice place. Not busy at the time we got there but it livened up a lot. Waitress was really good. Food was tasty and piping hot. Cocktail ordered that wasn't on the menu. Really good value for money. Thanks for a good time. Will definitely return.

User

Great atmosphere in there when watching World Cup Games and great staff

User

Brilliant atmosphere, amazing staff and lovely food. Could sit in there for hours chilllin. Will be back. X

User

Brilliant atmosphere, amazing staff and lovely food. Booked a group of 8 with 2 kids for France v Uruguay. Everyone loved it. They were great with the kids too.. thanks so much.

User

Booked a table as had a huge gap between the athletics and was not disappointed. Portion size was good, tv at the table mean we all got to watch the Wimbledon final. The staff were not hurrying us as they expected us to stay to watch all of the tennis, but equally no pressure was put in us to buy more. If you want fast food the food court is inside the main centre but if you want a restaurant were they appreciate you watching the sport and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, the great food and the friendly staff.

5*'s Wow! What a change.

I last visited in January 2016 and had such a bad experience I didn't go back, but today I decided to try again and went in and boy it has definitely gone back to winning ways, the service was fab, great, friendly and professional, they went out of their way to ensure I had space for my baby's pushchair. The food was delicious I loved my "Scholesy's" (Steak pudding, mushy peas, chips & gravy) and my husband had the hot dog which came with lovely crispy fried onions and was really tasty.

We couldn't manage dessert but will definitely be back to see if they are still as good.

This turn around has definitely made it one of my go to eating places in Westfield Stratford again.

⚽️🍻Great place to have a few drinks before the West Ham game. Child friendly too 👍🏻

We had a few drinks here which were great value for money but it did take a long while to get them. If you went upto the bar it was a lot easier and quicker. Staff are very friendly.

We didn't eat here but all the dishes that were coming out looked lovely 😊

On the plus side the West Ham ladies/girls were in their and we got a fantastic photo of them with all the kids ⚒

User

Nice place in a great strip of the shopping complex. Clearly massive Man Utd fans as they have hired Zlatan Ibrahimovics twin brother as chef.

Would have liked more steak options on the menu. I had gammon, was nice but expected a bit more gammon for the money. But then again it's London prices so probably me expecting too much.

The waffle desert was gorgeous.

User

Nice friendly place packed with West Ham fans. Quick service and would go there again x

Has a feel of football, good crowd, good ambience

User

Food was fab a d there was a great atmosphere. Kids loved their milkshakes in milk bottles and their visit to the sweet shop.

Visit was let down by the suggested tip added to the bill - if I want to tip that's my choice rather than made to feel obligated to

User

Great atmosphere, spoilt by some obnoxious, abusive staff who think giving customers the bird is acceptable. The management know of this, and need to do something to rid the place of staff like him. He was the short guy behind the bar wearing a royal blue t shirt on Friday 16th June 2017.

User

Food was great althou burger needed better quality meat as bit grisly. Lady waitress not friendly at all but overall would go again, would just have something other than a burger . Kids enjoyed there meal n milkshakes c

Bar was lovely and relaxed through the day on a Friday, however being a concert day once people started to flock in the facilities turned into chaos, the beer pumps constantly malfunctioned and the bottles were warm. Very few staff to cope with an expected demand being close to the concert venue (Olympic Stadium) meant getting served was close to impossible. Toilets were a joke as well as there were only 3 which were for both sexes so were in a disgusting condition after an hour.

User

Went yesterday at 12 with my son...tiny portion (4 chicken wings for £7.00, barely any meat on it and awful sauce), and Nacho ( not enough sauce, only ate half of it)...£31.00 for 2 drinks, nacho and chiken wings, far too expensive..won’t go there anymore and won’t recommend it..😞😞

User

Took ages to be given a menu, then to take our drinks order ... waited over 25 mins to be servers drink. Our starter plates weren't even taken away before our main arrived ... and we gave up even trying to order a pudding or a coffee as no waiter/waitress could be bothered to take it... it wasn't even busy ... Thr Boys normally like it there.. food was great .. but thr service was a disgrace
