Did you know we are a not for profit social enterprise? We’re a Community Interest Company, which very basically means that our social purpose is stronger than our drive to make tonnes of cash. It’s important to us that we consider all of our business decisions, and make the right ethical choices, for our local community, the environment, our staff and our customers.
Working with 4 london charities we run a programme of on the job training for people with additional challen...ges in life, such as learning disabilities or mental health problems, to provide them with the support and confidence to seek paid employment. Some of these delegates have found paid employment with us.
Additionally we run a programme of ‘cooking on a budget’ classes for parents in the community who are on low incomes, and want to learn how to prepare affordable nutritious meals for their families. These classes are followed by a communal sit down lunch, which provides a social element, creates community and combats isolation.
We aspire to be zero waste. We will not tolerate the use of single use plastics, and all of our takeaway containers including our coffee cups are fully compostable. We recycle our food waste, it is sent away for composting rather than to landfill.
To summarise, you can be sure that when you use our cafe you are contributing to social good.

When I lived in South London, i would take the bus out of Brixton and into central and I would pass this cafe. I'd see it hiding on the corner of the street, next to a church. I was intrigued by it, so I decided to find out more.

They have only just become 100% vegan and with not many vegan cafes or restaurants around, i really wanted to visit this place. I'm not a strict vegan myself but I am fully aware that this is a lifestyle and has existed for years alongside veggies and meat eaters. There just needs to be more products and places available to not alienate certain lifestyles.

I visited this cafe yesterday and it surpassed my expectations. I loved how intimate the cafe is. I loved the entrance to the cafe, it was very welcoming. As soon as I walked in, I got a friendly welcome. My concern was, sometimes with these type of places, the staff are quite arrogant and lack people skills, but the staff in this cafe were very approachable and engaged in conversation. There was good connection with staff to each other as some places, the staff appear distant and competitive.

The menu was written on a blackboard and it was easy to choose something to eat. I ordered a Jerk plantain with smokey beans and pineapple and it was presented really well and colourful. I ordered tea and was asked if I would like soya or oat milk, so there is option. And I had a banoffee pie which was very nice.

The music playing was great and the staff went out of their way to find out who was playing and they went out of their way to find out what ingredients were in the food.

The atmosphere here is relaxed in a quirky environment, there is artwork on the walls and loads of plants by the windows. There is a spiral staircase that takes you to more seating upstairs.

I would come here again next time I'm in London.

What a lucky find! This is an amazing 100% plant based cafe. We had brunch -"huevos" - which was really good. Tasty, well presented and served by a very friendly waitress. Lovely surroundings too sitting at an upstairs table. And good value. Can't recommend it highly enough!

Went for lunch for the first time today at this lovely little cafe. Today's burger special was the jerk burger and it was divine. Definitely coming back again.

This place is awesome. Such great food and in a lovely building too. Really great menu and affordable.

The best vegan cafe ever! Gorgeous food, with a beautiful little upstairs space and/or a lovely garden in the summer. Lovely people too! Sunday roast is the best I've ever had and the vegan rancheros brunch is fab. Love it!

Such a peaceful cafe with plenty of quirks and fantastic food! I can finally have ribs again :)

We can't wait to come back to a try a brunch next time round.



Some constructive feedback: it would be great if you provided those little forks or corn on the cob ends so your hands don't get dirty! Smoothies or milkshakes would also be amazing to add, unless I missed them :)

Not on my doorstep but definitely glad I made the effort to visit. Food was so good I ate one meal in there and got another one to take away (which I ate a couple of hours later as too good to save). I will definitely be back soon. REALLY great food �

I love the design and the spacing between tables (a lot of vegan places can get really jam packed and you feel like you are sitting on top of each other)- The food was lovely and well balanced. I ate here with 2 non-vegans who both enjoyed it! I loved the fruit crumble and the chips the most.

First of all, the service was marvellous. Our server was the nicest man ever. It was a pleasure to have talked to him. Second of all...the food was something dreams are made of. And thirdly, the place was so intimate, so warm and so tastefully put together. I totally recommend it!

Best vegan roast around!

An inspired menu and personalised spot-on service make this the go-to place for vegan/ veggies or food loving Londoners. They accommodated my food intolerances graciously, I shall be back.

An excellent lunch, dinner, breakfast and coffee spot in Oval. The food is exceptional! Great care is taken over the balance of flavours, colours and textures. Inventive, delicious, a real treat for the taste buds, with reasonable prices and friendly staff! It's a very special place and I intend to come here as often as possible!

Absolutely loved everything on the menu. Had dinner and dessert one day, and came back for brunch two days later!



Best Mac ‘n Cheese I’ve had since going vegan nearly three years ago

A great find, visited at lunchtime and enjoyed the calm atmosphere and delicious food - I went for the black bean and sweet potato chilli served with rice, salad and salsa. The owner very welcoming, giving us some background to the cafe, will definitely be back when visiting family again.

A great evening catching up with friends, in a lovely deco vegan cafe just down the road from Brixton. 5 star... friendly staff to recommend the excellent choice of delicious vegan food. I went mid week and had a great window seat and looking to go back soon to try the outdoor garden area.

YUMMY food. And you absolutely have to have desert. Both the chocolate cake and sticky toffee were amazing. I might go as far to say it's the best sticky toffee I've ever had... and I've had a lot.



Only criticism is - the portions were on the small side. My 6ft 4 boyfriend could've done with a little extra nosh. And I think I'm just greedy. But the greedy need to be catered for too.
