We are the cake shop with a twist offering cakes, coffee, booze, pies and more in a rock n roll kitsch establishment and music venue. We appeal to a range of people: from those wishing to relax with a coffee and cake and take advantage of our free wifi to those interested in our regular film nights or wanting to go wild at our wide range of gigs and music nights we put on. Our kitsch atmosphere is complete with a working jukebox which customers can bring mix CDs for.

Our cakes range from traditional American recipes such as the classic Red Velvet cake, our gooey Chocolate Brownies, scrumptious Baked Cheesecakes and luxurious the Salted Caramel and Chocolate Tart to more British ones such as our delicious Carrot Cake and light fruit tarts. All our cakes our vegetarian with a vegan option of Lime and Coconut cake also available. We also have a wheat free Orange and Almond cake for those that are wheat intolerant. We sell a wide range of cupcakes serving more traditional flavours such as Chocolate, Rose and Vanilla as well as our unique take seeing flavours such as Jack Daniels and Coke, Pimms, Lemon Sherbert and Banoffee. If sweet things aren't you thing we also stock delicious Mr Hair pies with meat, vegetarian and vegan options available, savoury scones and fresh home made quiches.

We also make bespoke cakes, cupcakes and biscuits for order for all sorts of occasions which in the past has included birthdays, weddings, baby showers, christmas, halloween, shop openings, music gigs and club nights and for band photo shoots! The imagination is the only limit at Cakey Muto and we openly encourage our customers to be as creative with their designs as possible. We have an album of cakes we have made available to see on this page and have made cakes for the likes of The Horrors, Toy, MTV, Vice, Edith Bowman and many more. As well as serving coffee and delicious thick milkshakes we have a fully licensed bar stocking the usual spirits and alcoholic drinks but also offering a range of cocktails including Black Russians, Espresso Martini, Moscow Mules and Bloody Marys. We're also known for making alcoholic milkshakes cocktails! We have a wide range of events running in the evenings as below our cake shop exterior we also have a venue space. As well as many regular events including film nights, screenings of The Twilight Zone, the glam rock night Suffragette City and sixties night The Broadcast Project we also take bookings for parties.
