We are currently recruiting for our summer season. We are looking for bar staff so over 18’s only. Experience not necessary. So if your looking to join a busy lively pub this summer and beyond please get in contact.

So last night a person or persons unknown decided to try and Kick/push over The Pembury Lass. A horse that is trying to raise money for a local charity which has the hard task of providing care and comfort to those at their end of life and the grieving families this leaves behind. We have close links with the Hospice both professionally and personally as they have dealt with a friend of ours. Whoever did this may have well just come in and stolen the charity pot. But whoever you are you won't win, she'll be back soon enough to keep up her good cause. Please like and share this and hopefully someone somewhere will feel some remorse!

We've just returned from a short stay at The Camden Arms Hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed it our room was lovely staff were very friendly and efficient. We ate there every evening and the food was superb! We will have no hesitations in booking again! Fantastic!

User

We have eaten here many times and have never had a bad meal. Portions are large and the carvery with its vast array of vegetables is particularly good, as is the homemade steak, ale and mushroom pie. Yum, yum.

User

We eat there at least once a month, as do friends & family. The menu is extensive, and the food is superb. The staff are all friendly, and helpful. I’d recommend to anyone. should have mentioned the fab carvery, five of us went last night, no doubt, we’ll be back, and soon. Xx

User

I was one of the 17 mentioned! Ribs and cajun chicken! Awesome plate of food. Big slab of ribs, very few bones! Great quality, lovely team of staff....Very patient. Look forward to our next gathering, pretty sure I know where it will be.

User

Great food great pub will return time and time again.

User

Excellent pub/hotel. Great choice of good food and drinks. Very friendly and helpful staff Plenty of room both inside and out. The garden is an absolute sun trap. A very well run independent establishment.

User

Excellent food very friendly staff, spotlessly clean hotel room and a great breakfast. Can’t wait to stay again

User

Excellent facilities overall. Bedrooms very cosy and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Could there be bigger tea and coffee mugs in the bedrooms though!

User

Excelent Sunday menu we had superb roasts, good service very popular and busy , beautiful looking pub inside and out

User

Amazing Sunday dinners would recommend , friendly staff and a lovely landlady

User

We had a family get together here on Saturday evening, the food was very nice and the service very good but there was a long wait between courses, but they were quite busy. We would go again.

User

Had a fabulous weekend with my daughter for Mother's Day.

Great stay at this this hotel. Clean and comfortable room, and a good night sleep.

We had lunch, dinner and breakfast.

All really well presented and tasty. Only gripe was the pepper sauce, not sure what it was! Tasteless.

I would have liked to have given 4 1/2 but it does not give you that option.

Would definitely return

User

Food was very good but the other half of our party had a long wait. We sat in the nice garden to eat our food. but unfortunately we struggled to find cutlery and condiments. However we did enjoy our visit and shall return again.

P.s Wheelchair/mobility scooter friendly

User

Excellent menu choice, fantastic food and brilliant kids menu. Only issue was the super slow service, however the staff were friendly and kind towards the kids. The kids puddings where a bit of a let down on options being only 1 option.

Booked a night away last minute...in fact on the morning of our arrival. Lovely warm welcome from a member of staff who showed us to our room rather than just handing over the key and pointing us in the direction of the room number as seems to be the norm these days. Room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and very nicely furnished (though the wardrobe doors were very sqeaky. ). Excellent bathroom with good quality complementary soaps, shampoo etc in full size bottles making it feel more homely than the tiny bottles you usually encounter. Decor throughout the hotel was very tasteful, we gathered from the very friendly lady owner after breakfast that they are still working on a refurb but there wasn't any evidence of ongoing work to disturb our stay.

Ate in the bar and restaurant, lunch, dinner and breakfast during our stay. We should have prebooked our evening meal, there are several areas to eat in, but hadn't realised just how busy it would be. Perhaps a heads up on arrival would be to ask guests if they would like to book a table if they were eating in ?

Having advised a staff member we would like to be seated in an hour ( by 8.15ish) at 9.10 it seemed we had been forgotten. Once reminded we were still waiting we were quickly ushered into an area that had obviously been cleared with tables reset for the following day. This was fine except that we were on our own so missed out on the atmosphere of the rest of the pub during our meal...that said everything we had from the extensive and varied menu was delicious, well cooked and presented.

Every member of staff was pleasant, smiley and helpful without being intrusive.

We would book again without hesitation having had a great time and a thoroughly relaxing weekend. Thanks to everyone there for making our stay so enjoyable !!
