ABOUT US
The Club
The club was founded some time before we affiliated to the ACU which was in February 1928. The club has been involved in all branches of motorcycle sport. A Sidcup member spotted a grass valley at West Kingsdown and suggested to the Sidcup Club Committee that we ask the landowner if the club could run a grass track there. He agreed, and for many years Sidcup, then other local clubs held Centre and National grass tracks which attracted hundreds of spectators. Around the 1950's, the then landowner decided to put tarmac on the grass track circuit, and change the sport to road racing The Brands Hatch road race circuit was born and evolved into the international venue it is today.
Some Sidcup members turned to Road Racing, going on to win trophies in the Isle of Man TT, the best known being Harold Daniell and Jock West.
Today we run Trials, Enduros, Long Distance Trials, Cross Country and Motocross. The club acquired its track - Canada Heights - in the mid 1980s and has been improving facilities ever since. The biggest spectator event is the "Early Birds Motocross", traditionally the first round of the Maxxis British Championship and huge crowds (10, 000 + ) pack the circuit to watch. From 1999-2001 the British round of the Sidecarcross Grand Prix was also held here.

Entries to the Sidcup Club members weekend are OPEN on-line. There's a 3-hour Hare & Hounds on Sunday 26 August and a Motocross Race meeting on Monday 27th August. Both events are open to riders on Motocross and Enduro bikes. BUT - both days are open to full Sidcup Club members only.. BUT - the Motocross will be a Practice ONLY meeting if fewer that 80 riders have entered by Monday 13th August.

Went up for the British Motocross Championships - what a great day! I'm a photographer and couldn't believe how easy it was to get some great shots - No chain link fences to look through, which makes a change in Motorsport!
Went to watch for the first time yesterday with my son. Absolutely brilliant day out we will defenitly be going again
Well organized great day out with the family, competitive racing and fantastic track.
We had a great day today fantastic racing catching up with old Moto X friends but oh dear !!!! 1 1/2 hours nearly to get off site from the car park, what a nightmare not impressed.
Was gutted to miss today's moto's but brilliant track, brilliant facilities, would love to ride there again one day myself.. but great spectator viewing and close to the action stuff the whole lap..!! ÔøΩ#braapppppp
Track was soooooo good this weekend. Top work to you all . Great days racing.
Track was absolutely amazing today loved the first one that is what motocross is all about well done boys and girls
This is a first class track to watch Motocross. Its an all action track with really good trackside access and viewing. Great facilities even at club events. The only downside was getting out at the end of the day, unfortunately the road in and out is pretty well a single access country lane and unfortunately one van coming the other way caused a bit of a problem for a while..

I went for the first time yesterday (17/04/2017), rode a practice trial, love this place, tea, burgers, decent toilets and well organised, had a great time. :-) will be coming back.
I hadn’t been for years, but as soon as I drove in I recognised the surroundings. The improvements, such as the track crossing tunnels are genius. Had the best day out with my Dad and my Son. �

Plenty of stewards to tell you where to park coming in, however on exit when you really need them with everyone leaving at the same time, no stewards to be found!
Nearly 2 hours to get off the site is shockingly awful and seriously needs some re-organising!!!!!
Great day out however horrific to leave, no organisation for leaving or stewards to assist. Takes on average an hour to get to the top of the field. Spoils a great day at races.....
