‘Candleston Christmas’ is a magical Interactive Children’s Christmas show staged at Santa & Mrs Claus’s Christmas Cottage, where you and your children get to enjoy an incredibly realistic interactive Christmas experience like never before.
When you arrive you will be greeted by Mrs Claus at the door of the Christmas cottage and shown into the very beautifully decorated parlour where a real log fire, Christmas music, complementary hot chocolate and berry juice awaits you. The children can write letters or draw pictures, to post at our North Pole letter box knowing it will be received by Santa. Next you will be lead by Mrs Claus to the secret garden where you will roast marshmallows on an open fire at the elves cabin. Next it’s “Show Time” at Santa’s Christmas Cabin where your child will be taken on a magical interactive Christmas adventure with the help of Mrs Claus to finally meet SANTA. Your child will watch in wonder our amazing 4D Christmas show, which uses skilled puppeteers, video cinema illusions combined with snow, smoke and bubbles giving your child a unique and very special Christmas experience they will never forget. Finally you and your family will be entertained by award winning vocal and instrumentalists Santa and Mrs Clause as they perform some festive tunes harmonising and playing stringed instruments much to the amazement of the children and adults alike.
Each child will personally meet Santa and will receive a Christmas gift. Don’t forget your camera as you will also have the opportunity to take your own photo of your family with Santa.

Where is the Christmas experience based? Our Christmas experience is based at Candleston Christmas, Bay View, Heol Canola, Bryncethin, Bridgend, CF32 9TS
Is there parking available? There is ample free parking at Bryncethin Memorial Hall , CF32 9PF just a short walk away.
Is it suitable for children? We love children, and warmly welcome them to our event. The path to Santa’s cabin includes steps and is uneven making it unsuitable for a push chair. Younger children might need to be carried at this point. To keep children safe we ask that children remain in the company of an adult, and properly supervised at all times. There are electrical cables for the lighting. These have been carefully placed to be out of reach of the public. With safety in mind, we ask you to ensure that children are not allowed to stray from the paths or wander into display areas or to touch the lights or creatures they may spot.
How do I make a booking? To make a booking please visit www. thoughtfulevents. co. uk, Just choose your date and time slot. The booking is made easily and safely via Paypal
How do I receive my tickets? Please present us with proof of purchase on paper or from email shown from your phone when you arrive. THERE WILL BE NO ACTUAL TICKET SENT : - when tickets are bought via paypal we will receive your email, name and address. Mrs Claus will have a list of the VIP ticket holders who have purchased tickets for that particular date and time slot.
How long does the experience last? The Experience will last approximately one hour
What should I wear? Our Christmas experience not only indoors but also outdoors so we recommend you wrap up warm (with gloves, hats and warm layers). Be prepared with a waterproof jacket and ensure your footwear is suitable for cold weather and walking sometimes through uneven terrain. Being comfortable and warm will make the experience altogether more enjoyable.
Will the weather affect my experience? As long as you are wrapped up in appropriate outdoor clothing, the weather should not affect your experience. For the main you will be under cover. There is a short walk through the secret garden but bad weather should not dampen any spirits. Our events will go ahead in all weathers, unless the conditions are deemed to be unsafe (e. g. Met Office Severe Weather Warnings issued for electrical storms or gale force winds). Snow is a beautiful addition and the show will go ahead. If the show is cancelled due to extreme weather you will be notified and a refund to your paypal account will be arranged.
Will there be food and drink available? There will complementary hot chocolate and berry Juice.
Please note NO FOOD OR DRINK to be brought on site.
How much are tickets? Tickets are priced at: - £17 per Adult also £17 per Child, Children 0-18 months free of charge must be sat on lap of adult during the experience (No gift given).
Are dogs allowed? Unfortunately dogs (other than guide /assistance dogs) are not allowed within the experience. Here at Candleston Christmas, we just love animals but with all the cables and lighting equipment it is just too dangerous.
When should I arrive? We recommend that you arrive 5 minutes before your allocated ticket time to allow for check in. Late arrivals may not gain entry.
Can I have an exchange / refund? Tickets cannot be refunded. Tickets can be exchanged at the sole discretion of Thoughtful Events and subject to availability, any exchanges will incur an administration fee of £10. 00
