For the very first Carhartt WIP Radio show of 2019, Detroit native Illa J has selected some tunes that DJ Glenn Astro put together to showcase the eclectic nature of his work, from a raw rap talent shown on his first album - the 2008 release Yancey Boys - to a more mature, mellow artist a decade on.

Skaters are no different to your average tourist, but just how do you plan a skate-trip to a place you’ve never been before? Easy. Instead of scouring Tripadvisor or Instagram geo-tags, you pull up Google Street View, drop some pins on spots that look skateable and pack your bags.
Earlier this year, that’s exactly what Jim Craven, Henry Kingsford and the Carhartt WIP skate team did, as they traveled to Iceland, a country known for its rugged terrain and sweeping grassy lands...capes, in search of concrete.

Coming up in New York in the 90s, photographer Sue Kwon Photography is perhaps best known for capturing some of Hip Hop’s most enigmatic figures of that era. For F/W18, Sue Kwon captured Indira Cruz – a downtown Manhattan high school teacher – in pieces from this season’s Carhartt WIP womenswear collection.
