Carney Academy Cheshire Description
Carney Academy Cheshire offers professional training in acting, singing and dancing for ages 4 through to young age 21 years. This is overseen by Director Ruth Carney who is a working Television and Theatre Director. Ruth is currently directing for the BBC.
Classes take place on Saturday in the heart of Cheshire in Sandbach at the Town Hall.
Our students have had a lot of success getting into the major drama schools and working in the professional theatre, television and film world. Current alumni are studying at Guildhall, Bristol Old Vic, LAMDA and East 15. With many of our students being accepted into the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain.

Carney Academy Cheshire are looking for a dynamic and vibrant new singing teacher for their Saturday morning classes.
Carney Academy offers professional training in acting, singing and dancing for ages 4 through to adult. The academy founder and director is professional theatre and television Director Ruth Carney.
... Where: Sandbach Town Hall
When: Saturday mornings 9am - 1pm.
Pay: £20 - 24p/h
Skills: Piano playing to a high standard with a good knowledge of younger voices.
This position is to start after the Christmas holidays.

Simply the best performing arts school in Cheshire. It is run by Ruth Carney, an acclaimed TV and Theatre Director. Ruth has appointed some incredibly talented acting, signing and dancing teachers. The quality of learning is exceptional, but most importantly our children love their Saturday mornings at Carney Academy Cheshire. Whilst they are learning a huge amount about performing arts, it has also been fantastic for building their confidence in public speaking, etc... all invaluable life skills.
My son started Carney Academy Cheshire in January and absolutely loves it!!
He looks forward to Saturday mornings and has developed in confidence and technical ability in just a few short weeks.
The experience of performing at the Regent Theatre as part of 018 Once Upon a Dance has inspired him even more to get involved in musical theatre.
